I think so. Jake Lamotta's head was comically big.

 

There seems to be some correlation. I think the neck size helps the head from snapping back with the punches which will help prevent getting dazed. As for head size can only speculate some ppl have thicker skulls or more fluid cushion on their brains maybe? That could all be bs tho.

 

Having a cranium that points or is thicker at the front helps too

Well David Price has a tiny head and a glass chin so the theory holds up well there.

 

Ibeabuchi had a pretty big square head.............godly chin..........

but then.............

Bruce Seldon had a big head, neck, traps etc.................no chin...........Rahman has a pretty big head..................chin not so great...........

I don't think Rahman had a bad chin. He had stamina issues and he def didnt have an iron chin but the chagaev kos were stamina issues and his other ko losses were to some big punchers

 

Dillian Whyte has a great cantalope for a head and has been down several times (although the Pov uppercut would have sparked out anyone). Will see how he gets on with the 41 year old post covid Pov. If he gets sparked out again i think this theory is in doubt.

 

I'd say big necks help more with punch resistance.

 

I don't know. I've seen him take some good shots and fire back, I've seen him get ended, I've seen him dance from shots that didn't seem all that hard. Regarding stamina it's weird, I've seen him huffing and puffing, but then doesn't he also have the compubox record for the most jabs thrown in a HW fight? He's an enigma
