Looks like another company are having a crack at boxing. £6m is crazy money.

    $6m for a fight that won't go 3 rounds.

Big stadium fight in Australia?? Is the the thinking? Win win for both. 3.9 mill for a easy nite work and 2.1mil for a fight no one expects you to do anything.

It's just going to make the big fights even more difficult to make now.

A sad day when your own promoter bids a distant 3rd place

Lee Selby must be ripping his hair out because if he wins that fight v Kambosos he's the one getting the big pay day.

    Crazy

that's actually sorta an interesting fight haha Tarvers 52 Mirs striking has a lot of holes in it but he can crack Tarver should win though if he prepares right but fighting at 52 isn't ideal. Mirs sorta old too but 41 is obviously younger than 52.

    Nope in Miami.

I dont get why fans think this is a good thing.

The fight is not a PPV and certainly not a 6m purse fight. When Lopez fights someone with a pulse, how much will he be expecting then?

Seems crap for everyone involved barring the two lads fighting.

Also Triller are going to do their absolutes in here arent they? Realistically who in the states are paying $75 for this?

Definite parallels here with that company Jay-Z was involved in, which was a music streaming service who decided to get involved with boxing and promoted Andre Ward v Paul Smith - a similar type of fight as this one (p4p contender v scrub). I *think* it was the only fight they did before they realised this boxing game wasn’t for them and jacked it in.

Triller obviously did very well with Tyson v Jones Jr, and probably will again with similar level superstar exhibition fights. Hard to see either a US network stumping up enough cash, or a PPV making them enough money for this to be worthwhile.
