I have never seen Fa fight live before and I will never do that again. That was awful. I haven't seen that much holding in years. When he bothered to throw a punch, he seemed to do okay. But he only did it a couple times

That was Lewis-Akinwande level grabbing. If he wasn't clearly fighting in front of people who love him, he would've been in danger of a DQ by the middle rounds. Just terrible.

And I couldn't believe the announcers thought it was close. I thought he quit trying to actually win before it was a third of the way over. He held for minutes (plural) every round. There had to have been multiple rounds where he landed no shots at all, and Parker isn't Willie Pep.

Please, never televise a Fa fight ever again. When Julius Long steals the show, it is an atrocious card.

Neither is a controversial statement. :nusenuse:

Parker easily could be undefeated with some non-outrageous result shiftings.

What was even more mind boggling is that Fa forgot where he was having success quicker than a goldfish, and after finding the jab or his right to the body he quickly fell into his wait-for-parker mode, and try to keep him out or tie up. And I think that was the team's genuine idea to grab victory. Thick shits all round I'd say. Feed Fa to Australasian up n comers now his mug's been strewn all over DAZN.

He's never been completely dominated . That's for sure. AJ didn't do **** and if Whyte's head butt was ruled a no knockdown, and they fought anywhere else then the fight could have been close to a draw.

He is the only ranked heavyweight - besides Usyk, Hrgović and Joyce - that has never clearly been the worst man on the night in the ring professionally.

(*please nobody mention Fury; he went on to improve a great deal since and has earned a lot of begrudging respect from haters, but even his most ardent supporters have to admit that he got a gift in McDermott I or expose themselves as having not seen it; and he would have lost to Cunningham if not for an egregiously permissive ref and blatant fouls galore)

That fight was like if Lewis-Akinwande went 12 with no warnings for holding at all, and then everyone jumped in the ring and told Henry he was a hero and role model.

I just couldn't believe it. So weird.

Good point and that has to count for something. Some, though, consider Parker vs Ruiz a bit of a gift. Not a Fury fanboy, but was that worse than anything Fury's been gifted?

Nah, that one could've swung either way. Draw probably would've been fairest.

I just turned on ESPN+. The round just ended. They fought three minutes, not a single clinch, and the ref didn't say break one time.

    See how easy that was?

Parker needed to fight against the clinches instead of just accepting them and waiting for the ref to break. maybe then the ref would have had to warn Fa for holding and we would have got a different fight.

    He really isnt...

Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Whyte, Ruiz, Hunter, Povetkin, Ortiz, Usyk, Joyce, Wallin, Hrgovic, Pulev and Chisora would all beat him.

Parker struggled with Winters, Leapai and now Fa.. He wont beat any of the top guys.

He beat Ruiz, and would have beaten Whyte and Juicy J with fair officiating.
