Eubank Jr beat a Yildrim not two years out of the ring and more convincingly than Canelo. Yildrim actually decided to throw some punches in the Eubank fight.. It's funny how all these fighters are suddenly not throwing punches at a highly overrated counterpuncher in Canelo. If Caenlo´s counterpunching and defense is so overrated, then how come guys don´t throw punches against him? Why was it Golovkin, who is a tremendous body puncher, opted to headhunt him? And explain just how did Eubank beat him more convincingly? What do you mean by that?
Eubanks put undefeated Yildrum away quicker and in more violent fashion. The barometer set by Eubanks was failed by Canelo the p4p #1
Well, for what it's worth, had Yildirim really gone for it in round 1, he'd probably be waking up right about now.
Lol you're so close to understanding but you're hate hard on for Canelo is preventing blood from getting to your brain. They aren't punching BECAUSE Canelo is a good counter puncher. Yildrim was intimidated against Canelo unlike against eubank jr hence less punches thrown
Because none have been paid to win you fool. If Kovalev had actually wanted to land his powerful jabs he could have. That fight was quite obviously a fix/sparring session. Canelo's head movement is ridiculously over exaggerated/unnecessary and it makes casual fans like yourself swoon. Lara had a good time landing straight lefts and Golovkin found a lovely place for his jab in Canelos face. GGG opted for headhunting as he was thirty ****ing five years old and slower yet he still managed to land the jab at will. Canelo literally walked in straight lines the whole fight against Callum yet Callum did not throw any long range punches and let him come forward. Caenlo isn't some masterful counterpuncher who can counter on the whilst aggressively moving forward. Canelo was throwing looping telegraphed shots in that fight as well. Eubank was more convincing as he actually laid him out on the floor... And a guy who wasn't two years out of the ring and decided to at least throw punches.. This idea Canelo is some mythical power puncher is beyond ridiculous
You literally have no understanding of boxing bar getting excited by flashy punches from Canelo.. Embarassing
The Smith fight was embarrassing he was literally walking straight up to him and hitting him like a punchbag
Yep Yildrim, hands up, take 6 body punches and a right hand go down and quit in his corner. Clearly paid to lose. He went down against Eubank trying to counter..again Canelo isn't some magical elite counterpunching/defense boxer
Canelo lands far more counter punches than Eubank does and would have landed far more counter punches on Groves than Eubank did, Jr needs to avenge his loss to Saunders before he can get a fight against Canelo instead of Billy, he`s not a world class fighter.
Canelo is harder to hit than Eubank, Jr has never fought anyone near GGG`s level, he`s proven nothing thus far.
