Thought Nathan Heaney looked very raw, think he has some level of ability but they probably need to go slowly with him. Very much had his chin there to be hit. Needs better head movement. Seems a genuinely nice lad

Now Tommy Fury has beaten a string Eastern European cab drivers and home grown white collar fighters, maybe it's time for him to step up to the South American road sweeper level.

That opponent last night threw a few punches in round 2 last night and only missed the target by 4 feet or more.

Those 0-9 records will now be more carefully scrutinised by Big Joan Fury to eliminate any risks of Tommy's gravy train hitting the buffers.

Only 2 out of his 5 opponents have even had wins on their records.

What's even the point in him fighting that level of opposition.

What I find worse is how he is fighting them, just bombing them out of there. Should be trying to get more out of the fights, let the weak opponents come forward a bit to sharpen his skills in defence and composure under fire; box them. I mean the justification of fighting bum after bum is he's supposed to be "learning on the job" to make up for lack of amateur pedigree, but doesn't look like he's learning anything. Looks like he's taking the Wilder approach of just goin bomb skwad rather than the Fury approach of trying to actually be a good boxer.

Tommy Fury - lad is going nowhere but I think they’ll build him to a novelty fight. Another lad from Love Island, Jack Fincham, is having his debut soon. He looks okay, had 20 odd amateur bouts for Eltham ABC and had a good record. His videos of him training look like he’s got good fundamentals, a little stiff but looks okay. Thinks he’s around super middle so not inconceivable he’ll box Fury down the line.

Heaney seems a sound bloke, which is annoying because i hate Stoke football! He looks a little stiff - I noticed this in his other fights, but he has a good engine. Think he’ll be a decent domestic boxer to watch.
