How would prime Canelo have fared against Mayweather?

When you have over 40 pro fights and are the champ of a division like canelo was back then you're not green. Did people make excuses for pbf saying he was green when at 21 he beat the lineal champ of the division in hernandez? What you also fail to bring up is that pbf was 35 old and past his best when he fought and schooled canelo. Canelo fought pbf at the perfect time not the other way around. That was supposed to be a passing of the torch type fight but that didn't happen. Canelo couldn't beat a faded pbf he wouldn't beat a prime one either.

Hernandez had 2 loses his entire career 1 was oscar the other was pbf. He was undefeated at 130 which is the weight they fought at while he fought oscar at 135.
Pbf is the only fighter in boxing history who was prime his whole career atleast that's what his critics say. They want to say his opponents were faded or green but don't do the same for him. Pbf was faded when he schooled canelo you seem to not want to recognize this.

You can't compare a declining Hernandez to Mayweather.
