Crawford is simply too easy to hit until he makes adjustments. I see Mosley taking it to Crawford with more speed and power than Bud has ever seen. Mosley by Knock Out within eight.
Agree that Mosley wins but can't really compare Crawford to Margarito can we ? Completely different styles of fighters.... one who marched forward relentlessly and the other who is a master boxer. " Margarito was bigger and we saw what happened " What about Vernon Forrest? He was the bigger man and Mosley lost to him at 147.
It's possible that the fight could be similar to Forrest vs Mosely. Hard to say without Crawford finding an epic dance partner while in his prime. Kinda' gotta give it to Mosely. He fought DLH and Floyd, etc...
Ok, so I agree with the general consensus on here that Mosely > TC and I think Mosely wins, but I'm not sure it's as a big of a wash as everyone is claiming. Mosey's reputation from lightweight proceeded him at welter...when he was at the lighter weights he had blazing fast hands and I believe only Phillip holiday ever went the distance with him. At the higher weight he was far less dominant, and had far fewer KOs...of course it was against much higher competition... At welter Moselys best win was against Margarito, a huge win indeed, but Margarito's style was Taylor made for Mosely... Aside from that Mosely won a tough close fight against de la Hoya. Those were probably his best performances, but in between he got dominated by Vernon forrest and lost to Cotto, then he went on to get dominated by Floyd and Manny. I still think he was too active and too fast for TC, but I could certainly see Crawford landing a clean one like forrest did and putting Mosely on qu33r street
Which Shane? At LW, I can see him winning a clear UD. At WW (Pre Vern Forrest) - Shane in a closer competitive win At WW (Post Vern Forrest) - TC in a wide decision
The Shane that beat Oscar or even lost to Vernon would beat Crawford. Hell, I'm not sure Crawford beats the Shane that lost to Cotto
Difficult to go against Mosely in this one. In these mythical match ups I always ask one question. Who has Crawford fought that leads me to believe he beats Mosely? Answer......no body. That being said, Crawford is a bad dude. Just wish he gets a good and challenging fight that will showcase his talents. Tests him.
