Sorry foreman fans but he's getting koed by dempsey..early...I've seen foreman frazie r 2 in person and watched foreman hit the bag within arms length from me training for the bout...Dempsey was probably the better puncher and 3 times quicker...and not side open like foreman...foreman was good enough but not in Dempsey s c!ass probab!y

I completely disagree with most of this. All good though, Foreman KO 2. Besides, it was a nice trip down 2018 memory lane, seems so long ago. Lol

Nostalgic ramblings of an old guy who uses quotes from 100 yrs ago in an attempt to justify nonsense.

This is the same guy who said Galento would've beaten Mike Tyson. I wouldn't take anything he says to seriously.

Surely you jest?.?......who, in their right mind, would say that! ?......unless there is an underlying reason.

Gosh- I really think Foreman would stop him with relative ease Jacks nature will do him no favors here.

At first thought, the styles certainly favor Foreman, Slugger vs Swarmer, but then I'd call Dempsey a Swarmer-Plus, since he did show signs of being a Boxer Puncher at times, but he did get past his best at an early age, as Swarmers usually do, being reduced to standing around hoping to land something big. Foreman, in my opinion, had the hardest punch ever seen in a boxing ring! (I met Big George once, on an airplane, and asked him about it. He said it was because of his big feet. Hahaha.) My point is that Dempsey was not Marciano or Frazier, although his style was similar to theirs, all too often. I don't put much weight into his early loss to Flynn, for various reasons. I do think that Dempsey would have had an even better chance of pulling off some kind of win against Liston.

Although Jess Willard was a giant that could hit, Jack Dempsey slayed him, broke his jaw, knocked out a tooth, a merciless beating. But the 1973 George Foreman was a much tougher giant than Willard was. George was s replica of his boyhood hero Charles Sonny Liston, the intimidating evil eye stare, meant to cause an opponent to defecate his trunks during the referees instructions at ring center. Jack would try to box Foreman, like he started out against Jess, but Foreman would impose his will by pushing the smaller Dempsey back, and tagging him with the right hand, causing Jack to retreat. In round 2, Dempsey attempts to respond to George's advances, but is met by a wild right hand that staggers Dempsey, who gets caught in the whirlwind of blows delivered by Foreman. Jack falls to the ground, resembling a battered rag doll, unable to beat the count.

Wrong, since when did dempsey ever flounder and fall around the ring anywhere close to what foreman did in three fights ala ali, lyle, and , young
Ive seen him workout and if he couldve beat dempsey then dempsey wasn't much
