The Brit haters won't be able to say much later this year when Taylor and Fury or Joshua are undisputed and top 5 P4P.
I hope Davison lets Taylor fight and doesn't do his usual "patience, step back, wait" routine from the corner.
For a fighter like Taylor who relies on intensity and pressure it would be a disaster, had he taken his foot of the gas against Prograis he would have lost the fight.
This is a boxing mans fight this! Two undervalued unified champs going baw deep and putting it right up there! Who cracks first?..
I can't see that happening. I don't think Taylor would let it happen. He seems extremely head strong and switched on when it comes to boxing. This will be a feather in Davison's cap, although I really don't know whether he's any good. I remember the amount of videos BT were pumping out rimming him at the time when he was with Fury. Doing whole videos on Davison's corner work against Wilder etc. I am not sold on him, but what do I know... What do people think here? Is he any good? These boxers clearly like him as a person. He seems easy going and probably wouldn't step on your toes.
One of my top fights for 2021, can't wait for this. I'm sure this WILL get picked up by a UK broadcaster, very different fight and scenario to Brook vs Crawford.
This is Ramirez is a dangerous fellow. I expect Taylor to win but they better not take him for granted. I'm not sold on Davidson tbh, whatever problems people have with Shane McGuigan there is no doubt he is a hell of a trainer.
