What if it had been Inoue in there instead of Tenshin? I think it would have been a Spadafora-like beating w/ clinching to survive.

Mayweather is simply a better fighter, irrespective of weight.

I voted wrong. I meant to press
    "mayweather wins the exhibition".

    He's just too big

There's a significant size difference but Inoue also has freaky power so you never know.

Well, Floyd didn't have a real training camp and he wasn't in optimal shape and he had been inactive. Got away with it against a super bantamweight kickboxer, but Inoue would have been in near fighting form and plus he's a killing machine w/ elite skills.

Floyd is better defensively w/ more speed.

Inoue is better offensively w/ more power.

If Inoue were a natural welterweight, he'd KO Floyd.

The 130lbs version of Mayweather was an absolute surgeon offensively: fast, creative, and accurate. True, Inoue pound-for-pound has better one punch power than 130lbs Floyd, but the overall gap in offensive capabilities is MUCH closer than you think.

Alternatively, Floyd's defensive abilities, ring generalship, and pure technical boxing aptitude are all measurably better than Inoue's.

    He's just a better fighter.

I disagree. Inoue's one of the most complete offensive fighters. He can knock you out with either hand, to the head or body, coming forward or fading away. His punch selection and combinations are sublime. He's patient and relentless at the same time. His ring cutting is also elite where he's like a shadow that opponents can't escape. And does this all without spoiling, clinching, or fighting dirty.

Inoue's not a defensive wiz, but he rolls with a lot of punches. He's not easy to hit and really for as offensive as he is, he doesn't get hit all that much.

Floyd would have still beat his butt. Too big, too strong. Inoue has power when facing guys his size.

No, dude. I just know that you're a bigtime Inoue booster and are unlikely to be convinced otherwise.

When Inoue's career concludes, the overwhelming majority of objective observers will acknowledge that Mayweather was the better fighter, and it's not particularly close.

Inoue's only 27. Who knows what he can go on to do before his career is over.

But I've given my reasons for why I think Inoue is a better offensive fighter.
