    "We’re finalizing all of the details. We hope to get the exact date and location in the next few days. We’re trying to get everything done for May. It’s been in the works for a long time, particularly more in detail in the last year. Now, in the last few weeks, we’ve been getting very close to working on this and finalizing it. I’m pretty excited. We’ll have all of the details set in the next few days. It’s a matter of time. So far, it seems like all of the parties are on board. I’m excited for it."

    this fight has made the most sense for a while. should be a hell of a fight. i see mikey winning by a couple rds.

    Hope Garcia gets paid. Not that much of a fan since the Spence farce though. If the fight happens he will beat Pac.

    Did Pac price himself out of the Crawford fight? Pac/Garcia is a decent fight but not as good as Pac/Crawford.

    If Pac beats Mikey he's tied Floyd for the most world champions (Current or Former) beat at 23 apiece. Stylistically this would be a really good fight id love to watch it. I think Mikey can outbox Manny but if Manny lands big this would turn into a Thurman-type fight.

    I would have been very excited for this fight at 140 years ago.

    Now its just intriguing. Both past their best.

    Mikey is a worse matchup (patient counterpuncher) for Pac than Spence. Great fight.

    Zero interess in this fight.

    It ads nothing to Pacs legacy . I think Pac should retire with the last impression being him beating Thurman but if he wants to continue fighting then he should fight Crawford of Spence since those clowns dont want to fight each other let the old warrior show them what real fighters are made of by taking on them.

    Plus **** Garcia never liked that clown.

    What? Mikey has been once beaten while moving up 2 weight divisions against the biggest welterweight. He rebounded by beating the hell out of Vargas.

    Great for Pac's resume if he wins.

    Is Garcia past it? Besides the Spence beatdown Garcia hasn't taken any real damage in his career. His style is also very economical which helps down the stretch.

    I will not pay to see this fight. Mikey is a grifter and has no business in the ring with a legend. This fight is beneath the Pacman.
