Article on Sky Sports hinting that Chisora Parker will take place in 8 weeks time. This means it will take place on May 1 or May 8, and should be the PPV show that was originally meant to be headlined by Warrington Xu. Terri Harper, Chantelle Cameron, and Dmitry Bivol vs Craig Richards could all feature on the card.
Why don't they just give Chisora his own subscription+ PPV channel ? £14.99 a month and you get 24 hour replays of Chisora's best moments and stupidest press conference comments, but mostly hours upon hours of Adam Smith and David Haye and Eddie Hearn talking about Chisora and reminding us that this is the NEW Chisora, not the guy who lost to Pulev and Kabayel and was outclassed by Fury and sparked out by Haye himself. Then twice a year you get the chance to pay an extra £24.99 to see Dereck "War" Chisora plodding around a ring picking up a loss against a semi-decent fighter .... but ALWAYS with the chance that he'll pull out that right hand he used on old man Takam .... don't dare blink, this is riveting stuff, Adam Smith assures us. Oh, but alas, it's not Dereck's night ! ..... and all 3 judges have him losing a clear decision ...... however, Tony Bellew assures us Chisora won every round. The total cost of this would only be £228.86 ..... and I think you all understand, though this may appear somewhat steep, "the fights can't be made without it." .... and Dereck ALWAYS gives value for money. Happy Days !
Hundreds of thousands you mean. WAR Chisora the British Joe Frazier squares off against the lethal Maori warrior who went 12 with Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. Chuck in a press conference brawl, David Haye claiming he's never seen Derrick in better shape, Pricey and Connor Benn on the undercard and some Tony Bellew hyperbole and you'll have mugs lining up. That's how easy it is. Let it burn, don't give a **** anymore.
It's just laughable now. Can't wait to see the sound bites and scripts roll out for this one. The more casual fanbase really are clueless.
Like most people on here I will watch it but I won’t pay for it. Would think at this point Eddie delays it so he can have it infront of fans at the O2.
The fight is a decent 7/10 Saturday Fight Night main event- nothing more. The PPVs are becoming fixed at particular times of the year now- the next thing is naming them like wrestling events.
Yeah, I believe Joshua Fury will be PPV obviously in June / July, and then Hearn is planning a Fight Camp series in August, with one show to be headlined by Fowler Fitzgerald, cumulating in a PPV event headlined by Dillian Whyte again, potentially against Andy Ruiz Jr.
Needs a very decent card to be a PPV. Get Fitzgerald-Fowler 2 on there! Obviously both fighters aren't ready for that yet, though.
It is a fairly irrelevant fight but could be fun. Despite Joe Parker being as entertaining to watch as a family members funeral.
