I would have thought that with Paint Dry Parker's recent non-performances that they would have looked for a better opponent for Chisora to make an exciting fight.

I think the only way Chisora could turn this snooze fest into an exciting fight, would be if he got his third leg out mid fight and slapped Paint Dry Parker in the face with it.

Please can Paint Dry be reconsidered as the opponent here. I wont be tuning in for anymore of his fights. I sleep well enough thanks.

But he’s a name that people know though, and that counts for more than anything. Look how long the ‘deadly’ Carson Jones made a career for over here.

Someone on here last week was saying that Parker didn’t really have much to fight for now he’s found his level. I thought it was obvious that if he beat Fa, he’s got two more guaranteed shots at the PPV loot against Chisora and Whyte, and if he beats them he’ll fight AJ again.

Just got to rinse and repeat this heavyweight PPV merry go round sadly.

Easy fights to make. Easy fights to sell. Easy money for everyone involved. And that’s what counts.

I dont understand the shock and horror tbh
I think its probably easy to agree that this is not a top draw match up and that it is unlikely to set the world alight
In the past it would never have been PPV
Its also easy to see that they are pushing the PPV as far as possible and esp during the pandemic as they know people cant get out and see any live sport
But its upto the promoters/boxers and the public as to whether they see value in it enough to pay whatever the price is
They are in the game of risk and reward -and above all profit
I enjoy watching Chisora - but I wont be paying for it as I dont think its going to be worth the money. I wont livestream it either BTW
Some people will pay and that up to them
    Isnt it that simple really?

Maybe I am being picky here but...

Fitz won their 1st fight, has since become the British Champion and is still unbeaten.

Therefore, it should be titled Fitzgerald v Fowler.

    All in the detail.

Yeah my mistake about that, Fitzgerald Fowler of course.

I got it the wrong way round as Fowler has constantly been talking about the rematch taking place in August.

Personally, I hope it is in Spring 2022 @ Deepdale to give Scott home advantage in the re-match. I think August @ Deepdale is too soon after over a year of inactivity, no wonder Fowler wants it in August!!

Fowler had home advantage in Liverpool for the 1st fight, none of this "neutral venue" for the return fight. It's Fowlers turn to step into an intimidating away arena.

It's clearly not an easy sell as I don't think anyone on here said there buying it and the casuals are waking up a bit too. This fight won't sell well.

Either way I couldn't care less. If I like the look of a PPV I will buy it, if I don't I go fishing.

I'll watch this on YouTube the next day, probably just the highlights, I can imagine putting together a highlight video of this fight is a tough gig.

No chance Hearn lets Whyte get in there with Ruiz in my opinion.

Yeah its one of those fights I would watch if it's on but i wouldn't make plans around it. Probably would watch the next day if it turns out to be decent.

Is there still much appeal/point in doing a Rose vs. Fitzgerald fight? I remember it was once close to happening and I was quite looking forward to it. Just not sure if it makes much sense considering Rose lost to Fowler.

I'm praying for another brutal Povetkin KO win.

But then look at Chisora with 10 defeats, coming off a defeat and they are apparently sticking him in a P
    PV fight.

So even if Whyte loses he will be in another PPV fight.. probably against Helenius LOL

Hearn is just taking the pee and abusing boxing fans, he is now the worse thing to happen to British boxing fans for a long long time.

Fleecing boxing fans during a pandemic and doing it with poor fights and women's boxing.. it's crazy people buy the crap.

Chisora could smash Parker over the head with a kiwi fruit.

This fight will be a difficult sell, Parker is such a dull and passive personality that the usual fake hate and press conference shoving match might not happen but as another poster said with people not being able to go out they're desperate for entertainment. The £19.99 they would usually spend on going to a restaurant or the pub is just sitting there gathering dust, so.......

Yep it's shocking but with the HW's 'one punch can change everything' even though in reality that rarely happens.

I don't need to boycott it, would never have even contemplated the idea of paying again on top of my subscription fee to watch this crap. Full stop.
