Great move by Parker. Barry was exploiting him for years.

does NZ.. have top boxing trainers? leaving barry is fine.. but if he just going to a new zealand trainer because he wants to stay home instead of looking for quality guys then it shows he doesn't care that much about being at the top his boxing career is pretty much done at top level..

Maybe he said that just to be polite against Barry. Maybe he will train in the US or UK.

The noise is so far that he wants to stay in NZ more and link up with City kick boxing. So yes i question does this mean he wants to improve and push hard or just be more comfortable?
City kick boxing is pretty elite obviously Israel Adesanya and Hooker from UFC there and Fa .
But I would have felt if reaching the top of boxing he could go for an Atlas or Sugar Hill.

I doubt that that's his reason. He's just putting a spin on it for Barry not to lose face.

At the same time, he doesn't seem like the sort of guy who will go to the ends of the earth for career mobility.

Change is good and I think it's been long overdue for Parker and Barry who has done well with Joe.

New Zealand doesn't really have any world class trainers for boxing that have proven experience. I hope Joe gets someone from America or the U.K.

We're doing very well here in New Zealand in regards to the fight with Covid 19. In saying that, Joes hometown is currently in lockdown. America and the UK aren't the best places to travel right now so that could be way he's choosing to stay put. He will have to leave the country soon if he is to fight Chisora however.

Parker is not exactly a smart guy so there's only so much you can teach him. Maybe he has hit his limit already and can't be taught anymore.

About ****ing time! Roach, Sugar Hill or Sanchez all can awaken the inner beast that lies dormant in Parker. Hopefully he decides to hook up with one of those guys or someone similar.

He should be on the phone to his buddy Tyson and hook up with him and Sugar Hill

It's like no one was following Parker during lockdown. From the videos he was making during lockdown, I got the feeling that Parker is a family man, and he listens to his wife very well.
