Nope. If Mikey was that good, he would have better names on his resume. He wouldn’t have ducked Loma for a start.

What Mikey is, is basic. And people confuse that textbook for being a “good boxer”, when Pac is a far better boxer in his unconventional way. It’s the same reason half this forum was so high on Mijares, because of how good he looked in textbook style.

Mikey struggled with Vargas, Broner and got embarrassed by Spence.

With this statement, you have lost all credibility. Fielding (who btw, like most everyone at 168, is ****) had one of the WBA's five thousand 'not-really-the-champion-but-we-want-that-sanctioning-fee' belts. Not even IsaL considered Canelo a real champion at SMW for winning that fight. It was a promotional grab by Canelo against a super-beatable opponent who no one gave serious consideration to while dipping his toes at SMW. It's a responsible move when going up a weight class, but only an idiot waves it around like it was some great accomplishment to his resume.

An idiot like...well, I'll let you figure that one out. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Cry all you want it was Canelo first fight moving 168 fighting a huge fighter with only one defeat I don't see the problem??? Canelo will soon be undisputed at 168 so nothing will matter...

Cry all you want, Fielding being "huge" doesn't negate the fact that he's trash, and was brought in as a responsible toe-dip in the division/easy win for Canelo. "Having only one loss" (he should have two) doesn't say anything other than 168 is also trash. "The problem" is you acting like this is anything remotely approaching a big deal. It isn't. Save Daniel Jones none of Canelo's recent victories are, but at least those were for legit titles. Citing the Fielding win in any way as a "Gotcha!" about how great Canelo has been since the GGG fights is just silly, even by your standards.

He was. Why do you think he didn't actually try to take Mikey out or hurt him? He outworked him.

spence didnt want to get timed. he got timed early, second rd i think it was, and he decided not to give mikey the mid range he wanted, and he limited his attacks to sporadic punches from outside mikeys range. anytime mikey stepped forward to get in his range, spence skipped back and waited with a counter. i imagine he could have forced a stoppage if he really wanted to, but that would allow mikey to work at doing his thing, and thats really dangerous.
youre not gonna outbox mikey at mid distance, so you have to beat him on the inside, and that requires you to be stronger and tougher. or you can beat him with speed and reach from the outside.
mikeys biggest weakness, imo, is his reactive instead of proactive approach to a fight. i think boxingwise he is every bit as good as canelo. but mikey goes in with the intent of catching you every time you make a mistake, while canelo goes in to force you to make those mistakes.

Mikey is just a ***** for a payday. This guy doesn’t deserve this fight at all after his horrible performance against Spence.

Do you think Lomachenko/Haney/Lopez/Garcia would have done better against Spence?

Even if Rocky was trash like you say Canelo already beat the number 1 champion in that division and is about to beat Saunders so suck on that good day

Who are also both trash. Because the entire division is trash. What is it about this point you fail to grasp? I'm sorry that you think this diminishes Canelo in some way and feel the need to reflexively lash out like an idiot. It's not his fault the division is garbage and ripe for promotional exploitation. But I'm not going to praise him for sweeping up the trash, either.
