I enjoyed seeing Canelo give GG a boxing lesson, show that GG was massively overhyped and exposed when he met Canelo, then I enjoyed seeing Canelo give him the beating of his life in the rematch after GG whined about Canelo not fighitng Mexican Style in the first fight. I have plenty of respect for GG as a fighter, but to live in denial that Canelo is his superior and is far more talented than GG ever was is living in a land of delusion. I don't know about you, but I can enjoy GG's time left in the ring, as a side stage of a fighter riding out the sunset of his career, after failing to defeat Canelo in two attempts and thus showing that he's not on the level of Canelo.

GG is a good solid fighter who gave Canelo two tough tests. Canelo conquered GG, left him in the dust after that rematch, and continues to prove to be a far greater fighter than GG ever was.

Murata would be very legit. Absolutely nothing to complain about there.

Munguia would also be acceptable for me (ironic considering the history).

personally I had it a draw and a easy yet entertaining win for Canelo but let’s take those 2 fights out, your greatness is determined by your comp for example a guy like Andrade has technically been a champ since like 2013 yet has never fought anybody notable does that make him great?

ggg is an entertaining fighter but knocking over bum after bum doesn’t equate to greatness in my estimation dude has beaten 1 current champ in total in the ring and has had opportunities but has been content to fight subpar fights because “fans” like you will make excuses for it.
Canelo last fight was a crappy opponent but that’s the typical quality of opponent Golovkin has faced his entire career. Not to mention ppl bringing up the defense record when over 50% of that was of a regular/interim title where he wasn’t even the real champ when in actuality he only has like 10 defenses vs less than impressive opposition.
Even if you feel he best Canelo 1 win in a 40+ fight career doesn’t make you great at all.
Who has Golovkin beaten that warrants praise, Cotto in 2 fights has beaten more MW champs than GGG
