UFC 259: Jan Błachowicz vs. Israel Adesanya & Petr Yan vs. Aljamain Sterling RBR

Well, I didn't see that coming.. I sensed an upset but not in that way.

Right winner, not sure on those 10-8 rounds, I'm not understanding the scoring to be honest LOL

 

I was expecting a robbery for the A side Adesanya, guess the UFC isnt too corrupt yet.

Both good fighters. I don't know if Adesanya's ground game is just not good enough or the guy was too heavy. I wouldn't say Adesanya can't do well at LHW just because he lost narrowly (in my eyes, like I said, I had it 2-2, was a bit distracted round 2) to the champ.

 

Commentary was leaning way more to Izzy's sporadic shots than Jan's overall dominance. I had it 4-1, could have been 5-0, and the last two were dominance on Jan's behalf.

Sorry, Izzy is a great fighter but he ain't no lightheavy.

 

Izzy taking it well to be fair, without hesitation said he going back to Middleweight..

He is not a LHW, never was and I don't think he ever will be unless he takes a long period off and builds in to it properly.

 

Respect to Izzy for moving up and taking the biggest challenge. It was a close fight.

Jan is much better than expected. Izzy was hesitant and I looking forward to watching both of their next fights.

Thought Blachowicz would knock him out. Still clearly won. Adesanya really isn’t all that good.

 

Gotta love Jan, what a nice man, humble and honest, I like his style.

 

Jan looked very good tonight. What surprise me was his speed. I thought Isreal's overall speed would be to much for him but he was just as fast.

 

Jones would have beaten Adensanya as well.

 

Really? Jan is slow as **** lol. It just didn't matter that much.
