    Despise Jones, but i think he would Rag Doll Izzy with wrestling and take him out with GnP or a submission

    Jan was outboxing him and landing the cleaner harder blows throughout. Izzy was busier but Jan was more effective and landing clean head shots and kicks which the commentary team were ignoring in favour of Izzy's activity. Jan might be bigger and slower but he has good timing and is crafty and he has a way of making his shots find the target and I don't think Izzy was expecting him to be able to do that with the consistency he did.

    Tonight he wasn't . He moved with Israel, duck, dodged , and weaved with him. That was why it surprised me.

    Yeah spot on.


    I was so disappointed in the commentary, it was so poor, so bias, it normally isn't that bad but it was terrible tonight.

    Adesanya has 0 chance vs prime Jon Jones. Even the shittier current version of Jones (who I think possibly lost 2 fights) beats him.

    I don't think I've ever heard commentary this biased, I had it 4-1 to Jan. He outlanded Izzy in almost every round and yet Joe Rogan kept going on about Izzy's feints which had 0 effect.

    Jan lands a few good shots... silence

    Jan said Izzy punched harder than expected, but slower than expected. He was able to time Izzy throughout the fight. There wasn’t a huge speed difference and timing can negate some of the speed advantages.

    Yeah I did, I thought they would find a way.

    They took a while with the scorecards so I thought they where going to give it to Adesanya by a point or something like that that.

    When I heard the scores, I thought I was going on a one man riot LOL I didn't think they'd give it to Jan that wide.

    But.. Just looking on twitter and the official stats have Jan outlanding Izzy in significant strikes in EVERY ROUND.

    :lol: Jan fought a smart fight and I don't recall Izzy catching him clean to the head with eye-catching shots much at all. He caught Jan with a nicely timed big left hand in the second or third round which he Jan felt the weight of but Jan landed with a lot of hard jabs and stiff right and left hands throughout.

    I haven't heard anyone try and claim that Izzy won yet.

    That's a great point, I've scrolled through twitter and haven't seen anybody trying to claim Izzy won.

    But If you just listened to the commentary though, it was 5-0 Izzy LOL.
