yes i'm a realist and not blinded by my flag, but i'm channelling this truly lovely young lady some inner strength today...she's gonna need it!
Yeah GL Megan, shes got the toughest assignment in womens MMA and im just hoping she doesnt get blown away early
She was like a deer in the headlights, went how i thought it would. They will probably cut the 145 class. Hope they still have a position in the UFC for Megan, she speaks well for a desk job. Or go back to Invicta
wasn't pretty, was it? would've been nice if she threw something, anything, especially the jab...or a kick. sent her a positive message on facebook anyways. she can tell her grandkids she shared the cage with the GOAT.
Shes a scrub lmao. WFW is probably the worst division I've ever seen in combat sports. Theres Nunes, Cyborg, the chick that was stripped of the title for ducking Cyborg and then a bunch of garbage. WBW is mostly **** too and WFLW is bad as well. WSW is the only good female division I've seen.
Nunes is so much better then the next few girls in both divisions and the only 1 who is close to her is Shevchenko who i thought beat her last time which should have set up an epic trilogy fight that likely still happens in next year or so. Meghan unfortunately as you said looked totally overwhelmed but i think she has age on her side and will be back and better for the experience and as long as they keep that division will be with the UFC for long time and will be tough to beat for almost everybody else at 145 outside Nunes and Cyborg obv.
The division is obv weak as **** and the depth and quality of womens mma isnt great outside the top couple but calling Anderson scrub is bit over the top and she did as well as former champ Rousey and the quality of her opposition and nerves had a lot to do with it.
Yes i know used her as example since UFC has only 3-4 other girls at 145 and probably the next best 145ers after Nunes are outside the UFC like Cyborg, Kayla Harrison and probably Julia Budd
Yeah her and Shevchenko look to be so much better and more rounded then those below them. Cyborg wanted no part of rematching Nunes and instead she chose to leave ufc and go back to attempting to build herself back up making easy money beating up unknown overmatched opponents, who because of cyborgs reputation more often then not are generally beaten before they even step foot in the cage.
I've never seen a ring walk like that before. She looked, and was clearly terrified. She lost the fight before it even started. Nunes is fantastic to watch. She is the only reason I pay attention to women fighting. She's so pretty too imo.
