So Gervonta Davis will fight Barrios at 140.

Is he skipping over the loaded 135 division because he fears fighters like Lopez, Garcia, Haney and Loma, and thinks his chances are better at 140?

Probably. Uncle Floyd said he's picking Duckvonta's opponents and to criticize him.

I'd rather think it's this. Is it for a belt @ 140? Probably a bit of both. Why take a risk when you can line your pockets and pick up a trinket in another weight class? Gotta' remember who's guiding him.

Hmm, are you serious? That’s the only reason he’s movin on up to fight a bum. He avoids all of the top guys at his own weight and it looks like he’s beating a bigger man. The reality is that you will never hear from his opponent again after this fight. Tank is a coward who is conning half wits into thinking he’s a legit fighter. Lots of half wits to fool so it looks like a sound strategy.

Tank is a protected fighter, the biggest hype job in boxing and his handlers are hiding him from real opposition. This next fight is just a different wrinkle on the existing plan. Anything to avoid a prime legit LW. He talks a big game but has no intention of fighting a real opponent. Gotta keep that paper belt and protect that zero at all costs.

Its for the bogus WBA belt where you aren't the real champ but you have a belt and we can charge you a sanctioning fee. The WBA champ is Josh Taylor.

Man i hope Barrios smash his face in.

Yes. I remember when Floyd "retired" for a few years because the 147 division was loaded (Williams, Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey). Later, when those boxers were starting to become faded, he came back.

Yeah that was a pretty cheesy move. Sad thing is he would have beat them all. But that was when he quit being PBF and became "Money". ****ed up the whole sport. Him and Manny.

No, he's skipping 135 so he doesn't have to fight any of them.

Just more BS cause Tank lacks discipline and blows up in weight between fights they probably figure he doesn't have enough time to cut to 135

I’m just gonna say my theory. Davis is already brain damaged. This is why he’s so protected and is avoiding any real danger. I seriously doubt his handlers will ever put him against a serious threat like Teo.

Yes. Just like Mikey Garcia went up to 140-147 to avoid Loma because of Arum.
