Guy gets KO'd by GGG in 4 rounds and somehow GGG's the one that's shot, dreadful, old, past his prime, etc, etc.. wut?
Spot check time. I think you know boxing, so this is really to see if your fair minded or not toward GGG. In this case I'll quote Roy Jones. "350 amateur fights, he knows what to do against anything." —Roy Jones Jr. on Golovkin's ring experience Don't you think 350 amateur fights takes away some of your prime? And then there is styles to consider, Mayweather is a defensive genius who hardly get his. Golovkin of a swarming attacker type, who will gladly trade. GGG's still style usually burns out quicker. So in terms of ring ge when they both fought Canelo its GGG > Mayweather. Agreed? Also do you agree with the judge Ross card 114-114 for Mayweather vs Canelo? That to me is a BS card. Canelo seems to get too many of them. As you mentioned GGG fourth the prime Canelo, Mayweather fought a greener version.
G looked shot against Dere but fantastic against Szeremeta... I think he has a few years left since he has only had a few hard fights in the pros and is clearly one of those guys that takes fitness seriously and stays in shape year round.. Enough time to cement his legacy by unifying with Andrade and Charlo.
He looked up against it against Derechenko because derechenko ain't no joke...why do you think canelo ducked him when he was his Mandatory...
Derevyanchenko is good but something was up with GGG that night, iirc. He looked pale, slow and sluggish... but since then he’s resembled the Golovkin of old.
