    Shot? No.

    Diminished? Sure.

He’d still beat 95-99% of the MW division.

You'd need to be born yesterday to think that Golovkin isn't utilising the best hot sauce on the market. He's an athlete of the highest level.

Exactly. Golovkin is an elite fighter, and only another elite fighter will beat him at this point.

People use shot so loosely, mainly to discredit fighters they dislike or justify bad performances from fighters they like.

He looked really sharp and not at all ghostlike in that one though.

In any case, we’ll all have the answer after the Murata fight.

You think he handles Deveryenchko? Devery had G hurt bad in their fight. Some even say G lost. Don't know about him winning a rematch.

I don't think he's close to shot but he'll never be the same after those wars with Canelo.

Golovkin never looks sharp against top opponents.

Agreed. I made a thread after the second fight I believe that Golovkin left something in the ring when he fought Canelo each time.

I think GGG beats Derevyanchenko in a rematch because he seems to be getting more used to his new trainer Banks and he won't under estimate Derevyanchenko this time, he will know what to expect. Also hopefully he won't be under the weather the 2nd time around.

I thought he looked very sharp against Canelo, outside of Mayweather at 152lbs,have you ever seen anybody stand toe to toe vs the current middleweight version of Canelo? He put Canelo through hell.
