I didnt read it all yet, but the fight night weights are on the tape, which i have. Floyd didnt gain weight after the weighin while competing at 154lbs, he would weigh in at 150lbs then come in the same or lighter on fight night. While Canelo easily while competing at 154 lbs would come in fight night at 172 lbs to 174lbs. I can verify fight night weights exactly when i get around to it.

Thats why it was b.s. when Canelo was attempting to weaken the Champ while actually being bigger. Its all on the video's, not made up, thats why you dont see Canelo's fight night weights anymore because his too small to be a middleweight stories didnt add up.

I don't think either fighter was weighed on the night. You claim they were. The only two times Mayweather fought at 154 was vs DLH years earlier and vs Cotto the previous year. Mayweather weighed in only about 150/151 when he fought at 154 but I'm not sure what he rehydrated to or how many of those times he weighed in on fight night.

Canelo never did anything of the sort. You're definitely making stuff up. Thank goodness I'm here to call out this kind of BS and set the record straight. It sounds like you're claiming he tried to weaken GGG. It's on video? What video. Show your supposed video, this should be fun.

No , not on video, Canelo and his people were saying they would fight GGG at a reduced weight and Able Sanchez wouldnt go fo it. Anybody who was around at the time remembers this stuff. Thats why people were mad, everybody knew Canelo's fight night weights, that are no longer being shown because they dont want to be called on it. From the initial GGG fight talks before the 16 month delay to current times, Canelo dont show fight night weights because they got embarrassed and lost credibility.

People were mad at Canelo because GGG and his fans were making up lies about him. GGG has to take some of the blame for any talks from either side about fighting at a reduced weight. After all, he made it very clear that he was willing to go down to 154 to fight Mayweather. After saying that, but then refusing to come down in weight for Canelo, is incredibly dumb.

As far as Canelo fight night weights, first we need to test your claim that there were fight night weights for Mayweather vs Canelo, which you claimed you'll verify when you get around to. I didn't recall any fight night weights for Mayweather Canelo, you claimed there were. We need to establish that first. Now you're saying he only started not giving fight night weights after the initial GGG fight talks which I'm not sure is accurate. You're making a lot of claims here. The first thing that you need to understand is there's always two sides to every story, and everything here is very open to interpretation. You're siding with the GGG side of the story.

Ok brother, this is what i got,on 5/ 2012 Canelo fight night vs Mosley 167lbs, 4/ 2013 vs Trout 172 lbs, on 9/2013 vs Floyd 165 lbs and Floyd fight night 150lbs, at weigh in Floyd weighed in at 150.5. On 3/2014 vs Angulo he was 170lbs and on 7/2014 vs Lara, he was 171 lbs fight night. Thats were it all stopped. Canelo looked huge vs Cotto and Khan so we can only amagine what the fight night weights could be. As far back as 2013 Canelo was weighing as much or more than GGG' on fight night and at the very least the same. The most GGG ever weighed on fight night was 173lbs Rubio and Martirosyan. Other than that he usually came in at about 170lbs. So, no reason for GGG to come down, and no real reason for Canelo to grow big enough to fight GGG.

Sorry, it turned out that Canelo only out weighed Floyd by 15 lbs on fight night not 20. If canelo came in fight night what he did vs Trout , the fight before, he would be 22lbs heavier than Floyd, but Canelo came in extra light against Floyd.

15 lbs, not 20+ lbs. What I've noticed is there's a tendency to exaggerate weight when it comes to Canelo. And as far as Mayweather, check out this topic :

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/mayweathers-fighting-weight.639005/

GGGfans said he doubts that Mayweather weighed what was reported in his fight night weights and he gives his reasons. He claims "I think Mayweather did most of his 2013-2015 fights at around 155 pounds."

Pakkuman claimed that he's always said that Mayweather is bigger than he lets on, and that Mayweather refues to step on the fight night scale, that he just tells them what he weighed and they list it as fact on the tale of the tape.

DonnyMo adds "Mayweather was big. He was just telling HBO to put up 148-151lbs on any given night as an unofficial weight and they complied."

So there's some speculation that Mayweather wasn't actually weighing in on fight night, but rather just telling HBO, or Showtime what his weight was and they were listing that in the tale of the tape. Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. I think Floyd could pretty much do whatever he wanted when it came to what the networks reported and get away with it. So it's very possible Mayweather weighed more like 155 on fight night vs Canelo, didn't actually weigh in on the night, but then told them he only weighed 150 and they listed that. We'll never know, but certainly several members here believe that, which would make the fight night weight advantage for Canelo that night only about 10 lbs, not 20+ lbs as you claimed.

You claimed that the fight night weights stopped after the initial GGG talks, because you were arguing that he stopped doing them specifically to try and hide what he weighed so he could try to drain GGG. Do you see now how misleading and inaccurate that was? Lara was well before initial GGG talks. He fought Kirkland after Lara, then Cotto then Khan. This is what I mean when I said you were just making stuff up. You were. But that's OK, at least you fact checked yourself and realized you had it wrong. I'm just pointing out how you have been fed lies about Canelo, what his weight was, when he did things and for what reasons. You used wrong data to make phony conclusions about Canelo and his motives. The timeline of when you claimed Canelo stopped doing fight night weights doesn't fit what you were arguing.

I don't imagine things like weight, I deal in facts.

:eyebrow2: Either you're not good at math, or you're just flat out lying here. You're saying 2013 Canelo was weighing as much or more than GGG on fight night or at the very least the same? No, since Canelo weighted 165 lbs vs Mayweather. He weighed 167 lb vs Mosley. You're reporting that GGG usually came in at about 170 lbs. 170 is more than 165 my man. So GGG weighed more on fight night than Canelo did when Canelo was fighting at 154. The most GGG ever weighed on fight night was 173 lbs vs Rubio and Martirosyan? OK, that's more than Canelo ever weighted on fight night, and 6-8 lbs more than Canelo weighed in 2012-2013. (167 vs Mosley, 165 vs Mayweather)

See how wrong you were? You, and many others, claimed Canelo's fight night weights were way higher than GGGs were, making the argument that he was actually much bigger than GGG despite fighting at 154. That's just not true. The facts just don't support that. Canelo weighed in the mid 160s on fight night when he fought at 154, which was well below GGG's usual fight night weight of 170 lbs. GGG's highest fight night weight of 173 lb was higher than Canelo's highest fight night weight.

For Canelo to go from the mid 160s on fight night to the low 170s on fight night made sense since he was preparing to move up to Middleweight so he would weigh about the same as GGG, not more, by the time he fought him. As you can see, the argument that Canelo was bigger than GGG despite fighting at a lower weight class falls flat. So GGG was bigger, then about the same as Canelo on fight night, not smaller.

In 20 title defenses the highest GGG fight night weight was 173lbs, only twice, Canelo weighed 172 vs Trout in 2013. Thats one pound difference way back in 2013. Canelo was extra light vs Mayweather only and for a reason speed. In 2014 vs Angulo he was 170lbs and vs Lara 171 lbs. Again GGG had no weight advantage.

Also by that time everbody could see GGG and Canelo were on a collision coarse and if Canelo and his people kept documenting fight night weights his huge size advantage over Cotto and Khan would have been rediculiously obvious at the very time he is trying to claim GGG is too big and needs to come down. Delahoya wasn't dumb.He saw where this was going. As i said Shadow, no more posted fight night weights for Canelo to this date. GGG was ok for fight night weights as seen vs Lemieux and Martirosyan, for example.
