Which top elites or future atgs has Inoue throw those combinations against?? Because anyone can look like a master of combinations low level competition
First of all, not anyone can look good vs low levels. If they could there'd be far more hypejobs. Secondly, Inoue's level of competition has been very high. It's not his fault you can't name his top five wins. Furthermore, what elite fighters or future greats has Canelo thrown combinations against?
Donaire was rated higher than GGG for the few years their primes overlapped. He was a big underdog vs Inoue because people thought he was further past it than he was. He was better in his prime, and the night he fought Inoue, be was better than Golovkin was the night Canelo beat him.
Golovkin only reached one because the four above him either lost or retired. He wouldn't have been number one either if he was prime at the same time as Donaire. And it's obvious because he was below Ward, Mayweather and Kovalev until they either lost or retired.
My friend Donaire was nowhere GGG`s level P4P and I`m not talking about ranking, I think you have an agenda, GGG was an extremely good fighter and Donaire just wasn`t at that level, no comparison.
I would put him right under LOMA, INOUE & PAC. Canelo is a bad mofo and he gets better with every fight and every meal #TaintedMeats
Both GGG and Donaire are Absolutely, indiscriminately great fighters. All-time greats of the highest, highest order? No. But great in general? Absolutely. But Donaire's better. Pound for pound, he's much quicker, he hits harder, he's got better footwork and was a more creative counter-puncher, he's better defensively, and he has a granite chin of it his own, too. GGG has a better jab, chin and is better at closing the distance. That's it, and chin is close, and Donaire isn't a come-forward fighter - so it's moot. GGG can't box like Donaire can. Donaire has a whole host of top wins. Almost all of which are conclusive and non-debatable results. Golovkin has three, and two of which were close decisions that could've gone either way. Lemieux, Jacobs and Derevyanchenko don't match up with Darchinyan, Tyson, Montiel, Sydorenko, Narvaez, Vazquez, Nish and Burnett. Donaire may have more losses than GGG, but he moved up from flyweight to featherweight. Three of his six losses happened vs elite fighters above his best weight, two more being while well past his best and the last being in his second pro fight. He had an undefeated run which lasted all but two months less than GGG's. He's also a four weight world champion, because he didn't sit in a **** division for his whole career.
Donaire is one of those fighters that looks great when fighting guys who are significantly smaller than them and once they move to a weight class with fighters who are same size or bigger they dont look great anymore.
