Bruno caught Tyson with hardly any jabs and was just pawing with that jab for the last two rounds of that fight, Liston had a far harder, better jab than Bruno, Tyson was out of sorts v Bruno, Tyson ws the greatest fighter in history and sliping and countering the jab and Bruno was nowhere near Holmes level.

Did you really just say Ruiz beats Lewis ? Not at any stage in their respective careers, even on Lennox’s worse night LOL

Lewis had an awful trainer for that fight and he sacked him a fighter later after getting smashed by McCall.

AJ by legal homicide. AJ faster, stronger and better.

AJ is faster and better but not stronger.

I wouldn't say AJ's any stronger than Bruno. There was only a small difference (2lb) in weight between them in their respective fights against Lewis & Pulev.

As for speed of jab, AJ's maybe the quicker but generally not as ram rod and purposeful as Bruno's tended to be.

I'm not saying Bruno beats AJ but it would be more competitive than most think.

Yes he is. Bigger, faster, stronger and better.

Not saying it would not be competitive just simply saying AJ is bigger, faster, better and stronger.

I'd give Bruno a somewhat better chance of 23% against a post Ruiz AJ.

Though I agree that AJ probably wins.

Bigger? Not necessarily. McCall Bruno was weighing in at 248lbs ripped to the bone (Joshua has never been close to as lean). Taller? yes. Stronger? I seriously doubt it.

    Faster? Definitely.
    Better? Very likely.

I disagree on the stronger point. Bruno was a very strong bloke too. Both heavily muscled and Bruno was just as much as a gym rat as AJ is.
AJ , for his size doesn't do too well in clinches.

I said this a couple of years ago in a similar thread. Nothing has changed in those couple of years to make me rethink my position.

It would have to be AJ.

However I've always thought Bruno was a better fighter than some often make out.

He was limited, often robotic and carrying all that muscle he could run out of steam but he had a decent jab and a ****ing bomb of a right hand.
