    It was painful watching him fight ....guys like Saad Muhammad and Arturo Gatti take a lot punishment but they can punch ...so you know they always have a chance to end it ....but Wayne McCullough ? What he was able to land wasn’t worth it lol

    I disagree,
    Tough aggressive fighters like Lomatta, and Armstrong comes to mind . Neither were exceptionally fast or dangerously powerful but would wear down opponents by attrition.
    Marciano, and Qawi could be added to this list also.
    Saoul Mamby is another possibility.
    Mainly though it's the attrition style fighters.

    I know...but you could not help but root for him, and IMO beat peak Hamed.

    He won the title., and was never down....no power......not a blazer

    This is a hard question to answer for me when you take into account how many variables come into play. A fighters style, footwork and form can make for deceptive speed ratings ditto with power, certain punches can pack a huge whack depending on the way it’s thrown so while one may have an awesome right he may have a wet paper hook-

    I would say a lot of the above posters have it correct with Jake Lammota he is consistently a uneventful puncher, and not particular swift at all.

    Bernard Hopkins. I know he could punch a bit earlier in his career though.

    He broke guys down with body shots and brilliant combinations......and before you mention the Donald Curry knock out ,that was just a great shot ...even Pernell Whitaker knocked out a few guys

    I actually mostly agree. He has good power at 154 but not overwhelming. His power at 160 was pretty tame imo when talking strictly power.

    Zora Folley was a decent fghter with below awerage power and just mediocre speed. But in terms of accuracy and timing he was good though.
