No, AJ didn`t hit harder than Bruno, Frank hurt Tyson more than Ruddock did.

 

Joshua is 6-foot-6, has a 47-inch chest, and a 17-inch bicep. Even his legs are huge, as he has a 27-inch thigh and 17-inch calf.

AJ weight: 108 kg

 

Bruno was heavier than AJ when he fought McCall.
AJ weight: 108 kg

 

The Bruno who fought Tuson first time around was 103kg (228lbs).

Roided up to 250lbs in the 90s.

 

That does not mean he punches harder. In fact I think Tyson said Ruddock punches harder comparing his with that of a mule kick.

 

AJ is overall a step above Bruno imo. Comparable power and jabs but AJ is taller, quicker, puts his shots together better and is a much smarter fighter. I just cannot imagine Frank taking a bad loss like the one to Ruiz and then having the maturity and nerves to come back 6 months later, slim down and employ a completely different gameplan to practically shut out the same opponent.

 

A fighter as slow of foot, is surely never gonna do well against a long, rangy, surprisingly agile and often cautious fighter like LL..with one of the best 1,2’s in the history of the division. Any version of LL by clubber Lang style “pain”

Don't presume that those of us that see Frank as very flawed didn't witness his entire career.

What's the source for these measurements

Both guys had bodybuilder physiques ... Bruno in the 90s was nearly 250 lbs and was ripped to the bone low body fat ... He was shorter than Joshua but he was more muscle bound and broad than him ...

Watch Lewis vs Bruno ... Lewis is slightly shorter and about 10-12 lbs or so lighter than AJ and he doesn't dwarf the shorter yet heavier Bruno

 

Lewis was a lot slimmer v Bruno than in later years and was never as ripped as AJ, google Bruno and AJ`s measurements that`s where I got these stats from.
