Of course he isn't...and he's tarnished his entire legacy with his consistently dodgy scorecards, robbing GGGx2 and Lara, and the blatantly fixed fight with Kovalev. Clenelo isn't a good enough name it should be fraudnelo or conelo. Anyone who thinks he is an ATG, is a biased fanboy
buterelo is very good boxer, he likes me. Despite horsemeat and fact that he is insanely protected cash cow like A.J in eddie backyard with all legacy: HOMETOWN refs and judges, cheery picked opponents and clauses. Both of them are " champs ".
Of course he's not now. In five years or so - or whenever he decided on retiring - they'll be people who claim he is and people who claim he isn't. They'll be truth to both sides and he'll be fringe.
If you take everything he has done without ifs and buts I think he'd clearly go down as an ATG. His resume at face value has some big names on it.
I don't, not at the time him fought them. His best wins: Old GGG, Old Cotto, Old Kovalev, Jacobs, Smith, Trout and Lara. Three old men, two incredibly mediocre fighters and two good, underrated fighters. It's pretty meh. I don't out much weight on the title at 175, but having the lineage in three weights is quite impressive. Shame two of them are some of the worst weights in boxing. I just don't think he's accomplished enough. And then when you add the issues with weights, dodgy decisions, etc; and he isn't making it IMO.
He has beaten every british fighter between 160 and 168, no other fighter has ever done that as far as I can tell
Because boxing mostly looks at what happened on paper, instead what actually took place in the ring, Alvarez is an almost certain ATG.
