Would Ali and Frazier have been too good for Fury and Joshua?

Frazier gets demolished - Foreman style - by Fury and AJ.

Ali is not outsmarting AJ or out speeding Fury to a points win. Neither are going to out anything Fury or AJ.

But Fury and Aj dont fight like Foreman. Lol Fury is nowhere near as good of a close range fighter as AJ let alone Foreman

I've been here for a while so I'm not going anywhere.

Chubby took a few shots from AJ that would've put Ali or Frazier into next week. Maybe you need to take your own advise !

But you can't. You can't just scale a guy up or down anf expect their coordination, stamina, ... to remain the same.

I'll say this about those old school fighters, I think they were mentally tougher.

AJ spitting out is mouthpiece in a title fight.
Wilder seemingly melting down after a defeat.
    Fury self imploding.

Those older generations were mentally tougher I think.

FOTC Ali was almost exactly the same size as Usyk when he fought Chisora, and most here don't exclude the possibility of Usyk beating either of them.

Ali landed 330 punches over 15 rounds. In Wilder 2, featuring the more offensive Fury, he was landing at less than a 1/3 that pace.

No idea about favorites but it's absolutely possible Ali survives and outworks either of them.

Frazier I see fewer chances but who knows, neither has faced his bob and weave pressure style. Andy Ruiz brings pressure but nothing like that movement. A puncher's chance anyway.

Sorry I am chiming in late.

Ali and Frazier were both capable of throwing 100 punches a round in a fight. Fury sometimes win by landing 12.

Additionally, Joshua just lost to 6'1 Ruiz, and Fury has been dropped by cruiserweight Cunningham.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Joshua and Fury could not hold their own, but those saying that Ali and Frazier would be at a significant disadvantage are in la la land. These are four very different, but top-quality heavies.

p4p Ali and Frazier were obviously better overall boxers, but the size difference + advancements in PEDs and S&C since the 70s makes it tougher to call imo. I think 90s guys like Lennox and (on form) Bowe and possibly some others besides would beat AJ and Fury comfortably though.

Yeah. Pro boxing at that time was basically a pro version of National Golden Gloves with a brit or two sprinkled in.
