For me, it is Gassiev. I think he is ready for some big fights at heavy, and it is shame to see that he is having trouble with his promoters and has nothing signed. Who is your favorite guy whose career is dying on the vine?
Is Gassiev in good shape? Looks that he decided to move in HW division after WBSS1 tournament. Then he had injury ( doesn't looks that in fight ) and needed long rehab etc. I might list relatively long list with boxers.
Make the list. Gassiev looked to be in good shape last time out, maybe just a bit pudgy, but he definitely can pull off heavy.
Obviously the Charlos if Saul Alvarez has been able to avoid all mention of them without anyone seeming to care.... It would be one thing if Alvarez was passing them up for other, more dangerous fights, but he's content feasting on the likes of the next Caleb Winthorp the III, or whoever, these guys all play tennis together on the weekends and we're all really tired of it, but I can't help thinking if Charlos had a promoter worth a damn this fight could have been signed sealed and delivered already... I know people on this forum that do a better job promoting Charlos then their real promoters do
That's cool. Injuries looks that were like curse for former WBSS1 series boxers; Gassiev, Briedis and Usyk. Gassiev might be relatively marketable: he looks that is 2-1 in title fights, had WBA and IBF titles. Had fought in WBSS1 final for all 4 major belts and Ali trophy vs Usyk. Fight vs Dorticos in WBSS1 too after WBSS2 adds him marketability because Dorticos in WBSS2 managed to get IBF World Title via stoppage win vs Tabiti.
Surrix beat me to it...the Spence fight needs to happen. The winner could be the new star that boxing desperately needs.
