The fight should have happened in 2010. I think it’s the same result, but at a faster pace and a better fight. Both guys were better back then. I think most of us hardcore fans knew deep down the fight would suck when it happened in 2015, we were just hoping otherwise. After a certain point, both sides probably just figured that they could milk it for all it was worth and dangle the carrot in front the of the fans, while each of them made a lot of money facing easier opponents (or perceived to be easier). Not the first time that this time of thinking has delayed a fight.
Mirko has always liked posts that go against black fighters. I didn't even see him in the rip Hagler thread. **** mirko!
Plenty of white fighters have died and I offered condolences do a search. I'm a big fan of fury loved Calzaghe and froch
a past prime Pacquiao with 1 good arm literally won 4 rounds on two judges scorecards, and that was with some of the rounds that was scored to Floyd being close rounds. So its not hard to see that a fully fit prime Pac could have beat him. if Floyd was in the ring with Manny in 2010 instead of Clottey then i think Pacquiao would have definitely won at least 6 rounds especially if Floyd got off to a slow start like he usually does.
Floyd had a huge size advantage. If they had fought when they should have, at 143-144 after Pac beat Hatton, Pac would've won. I think at 147 which is really beyond Pac's optimum weight Floyd would've maybe gotten 6 rounds for a draw. Pac was always giving up an advantage against natural WWs
Right hand lead fighters more than counter punchers. If you are a left hand dominant counter punchers Pacquiao will wash you. DLH, Barrera, Cotto ect M Morales JMM and Mayweather had success because they can lead with the right hand without needing to land the jab. Pacquiao reaction time was too fast if you try to have with him, it actually helps him to measure distance and timing. People stereotype Pacquiao as more of a force of nature but that guy could download you with the best of em
