He doesn't train anymore but he sparred yesterday......................................................................................................................................................................................Yep, you can tell he is defenitely ready for the AJ fight.
You reckon he'll go defensive like against Wladmir? Seems to me like the sensible option. AJ has no chance if this is a boxing match.
No. He'll jab his nut in early. Force AJ to revert to type and come forward, then meet him head on, AJ will gas and that will be all she wrote.
It will be a very interesting fight. I see it ending with Fury surviving being knocked around or down once or twice and dismantling AJ when he's recovering.
I don't think AJ will touch him. Some decent shots early, straight up boxing, but nothing to phase Fury. When Fury pulls the trigger mid/late and starts getting in close on AJ is when AJ will put out his last ditch effort and might drop Fury if he stays composed.
I don't think AJ's hand speed will be the issue really. I think AJ will catch him. I think AJ's worry is his static body/head movement will be an easy target for Fury.
Death by jab. Joyce Dubious. That Kronk stiff arm Jab Fury has developed is amazing. Shook Wilder, AJ will react the same way. Really unsettling the distance fury can hit you from when he is on point. Talking about Joyce, no doubt he will be involved Fury sparring, who the hell can AJ get? there is literally nobody, Only tall fast cruisers...then bigger men for closer range & wrestling work.
If Fury goes full defense mode Aj will NOT cautiously box with him like Klitschko did. He'll probably walk him down and jab to the body and try to get Fury on the ropes, at that point its a 50/50 fight. Fury is 2 levels above Aj in boxing ability but Aj has the style, the mid range superiority, and the size to impose himself on Fury. Otto Wallin had success walking Fury down and going to the body in the early rounds. Fury relies on clinching to stop an opponent from swarming him but Aj might be the first fighter than could match him in physical strength. Success in the Early rounds will be key for Aj to win. Wheras the late rounds will be Key for Fury to win. If Aj can keep a sort of decent workrate for 4 or 5 rounds not only can he have success in wearing Fury down for the late rounds but he can also steal those rounds with his flashy combos by overshadowing Fury's defensively low punch output. If this scenario takes place i cant see past a Aj late TKO. But if he can't keep that kind of punch output up and cant bag the early rounds he'll start to get desperate and make mistakes and he'll start to gas. This is where Furys superior boxing brain and movement come into play. He'll ride out the storm and will maneuver out of Ajs robotic combinations and he'll start outboxing Aj with ease when Aj starts gassing hard. If this scenario takes place i cant see past a Fury UD
