It's hard to have any faith in American HWs at this point. I don't see either of these guys going anywhere. Of the newer batch Anderson looks to be the only one who might have any real potential.
My guess is that US casual fans really lost interest in the HW category and that leads to boxers getting underpaid. You need to be around 200 cm tall for the division... You can earn much more with that body size in NBA or NFL
I think casual fans losing interest in the HW division may be part of the reason no-one seems keen to front up a site fee for Joshua/Fury. The WBA mess, Wilder's 5 years of lame defenses, the will they or won't they saga of Fury/Joshua itself ... casual fans are tuning out. It's not like the 70s and 80s where the big heavyweight fights resonated with everyone everywhere.
