Most likely in saudi, the variants spreading will prevent a crowd in uk and vegas.

I'm a cynic on this one. You have one side saying the fight is done and blasting that everywhere. I'll believe it when I hear it from both parties. I've read nothing that says Tyson Fury signed for the fight or that he's okay with the deal. There's no venue either. An agreement without a counter party or a venue isn't even an agreement in principle. It's just a tentative offer.

If this was truly a done deal wouldn't AJ and Fury be co-announcing it? And if this was truly a done deal for a heavyweight unification/undisputed match how would you feel if you were the heavyweight champ(s) and some guy name Eddie got to announce the fight. You'd be like WTF Eddie, WTF.

Honestly, most of the time these "not quite finalized" deals are announced by one side they end up falling apart. And nine times out of ten its a posturing maneuver on the part of the side that is putting it out there like its a done deal.

If Hearn says it's signed then it means he probably got the contract back signed. But who knows

We'll know by the End of the day. If Tyson Fury comes out and says pump the breaks then its not a done deal.

Hearn has obviously got a signed contract and agreement from the others that this can go out. There is zero chance with a fight this size that he has done anything without approval. They have all signed confidentiality clauses as well. This isa PR move to keep the people happy and buy themselves time whilst they work out the date and location details. You can be sceptical of this part, as I am also.

However, once this is all tied up, then the fighters, teams and broadcasters will simultaneously announce everything.

What would be the advantage of hearn saying it's signed now if it really isn't?

This is great news for Boxing!

I bet Wilder wishes he would have taken that offer from AJ and Hearns lol

He's been announcing it as "agreed in principle" then "printed up just need to sign it" then "started signing pen ran out of ink" now it's "signed but no venue" (which is arguably the hardest piece right now).

So either he is committed to transparency or he sees some advantage to these announcements.

Need to see something from TR. Could also be signed on the condition that the two sides agree on a venue within 30 days or something like that, so in a sense they still could be negotiating.

    Huzzah! I said Huzzah!

(so long as there are no huccups and/or negotiating snags that present themselves between now and when they fight.)
