Vitali has a little more of a winning mentality, and, probably squeaks out a close win. Neither man is getting stopped here. Vitali by close or split decision.

Tucker decision.
He essentially is Vitali just with a little more skill and refinement.
He has a better single win against Douglas and done better against prime Lewis when he himself was past prime.

Vitali style simply wasn't suited to super heavies. That's why he hand picked small face forward plodders

Wondering that this bout didn´t exist on BF24.
Very hard to call. Leaning towards a Vitali dicision, but Tucker had a chin & could move + box.

If Lewis and Tyson can't KO him, neither can Vitali.

But Vit the Klit should win a decision.

People criticise Vitali for his lack of big wins, but he only had 2 losses that were far from conventional losses, and he lost about 8 rounds in his career.

On the other hand, Tucker's record is a bit of a joke. Aside from Douglas, who was hardly a world beater anyway, his record prior was laughable - men off the street.

Tony Tucker is not his billed 6'5'' and is more 6'3''. Vitali is a legitimate 6'7''. The size difference would be considerable and Tucker would likely take a sustained beating from the great Vitali.

Lewis wasn`t in his prime in `93 and was awful v Buno and went on to lose to McCall throwing a sloppy right hand, Lewis improved vastly under Steward, Tucker was way past it v Lewis, that wwas an awful bout.

Tucker wa 6`5, he looked the same height as Lewis and looked far taller than most of Tyson`s opponents when he towered over Mike in there bout, Douglas was 6`3.5.

Vitali gets a decision win. Not sure how ugly it gets, with Klitch fighting the sort of fight where he wins but looks bloody horrible doing it. Tucker, a very good fighter, not sure if he's under or over rated at times!?
But it's a extremely close decision win for Vit and not very well received.

Ya know, call me crazy, but I'll go with the guy with the 80% KO record who was champion into his 40s.

He definitely wasn't 6'5". That's a laughable stretch. He never once looked close to that.

Anyway, look a bit through some of the comments on here which seem to side with my thoughts.

https://www.celebheights.com/s/Tony-Tucker-5234.html#:~:text=6ft 3 ¼ (191.1 cm)

compare him with Joshua

https://www.celebheights.com/s/Anthony-Joshua-49134.html

then this 6'7'' guy who's not even standing up straight.

https://www.celebheights.com/s/Curtly-Ambrose-51782.html

Vitali would've towered over Tucker. And he would've clobbered him. Difference in class and minerals, Mark.

I favor Vitali by UD of course but im not sure if that's the right way to scale things. Humans can shrink in height as they age as early as their late 30s. Tony Tucker looked about 6'4 in his prime

It's not hard to call at all. Tucker's best wins are a SD where he squeaked past McCall and a come from behind KO win over Douglas who was beating hm up till then. Every other time he stepped up in class he lost.

This is the second time you've told me the exact same thing (but you formerly did so as Aydamn). Alas, "I know", and I had taken that into account, as did Rob from CelebHeights (as you already know).
