According to Max Kellerman Wilder is receiving "step aside" money to allow the fight to proceed. I wonder how much ?

can't vote just yet, need to see press conference first, i think that could have huge aspect on mental aspect of this fight. If AJ cuts a bull**** awesome promo on Fury that leaves him speechless before fight, then it goes his way, if Fury wins mind games then its game over, but i can see 1-1 overall, but **** it, why not have a best of 7 series ;)

They both have the prestige of beating Wladimir, even though he was obviously on the Downslide.
Fury beat a fresher Wlad, by moving and countering.......but Joshua beat him by toe to toe power shot exchanges

But I think Fury will be too much for Joshua. Especially with the new-found power-punching he seems to have acquired from his Kronk training

Fury is one effective, fast handed, slick, and now more powerful, massive fighting machine

    Fury by late TKO.

I dont think Joshua is stronger than Fury If we are going by clinches and wrestling. Pulev looked stronger than AJ in the clinches. And I do believe Fury is stronger than Pulev. Also staminawise Fury is tougher than AJ.

Joshua need some gun luck at The beginning or the fight will be Fury's.

Joshua is strong enough. He was overpowering Breazeale when he tried to go for the kill. Fury weighs a lot more so Fury will have the edge in wrestling but Joshua from what i can tell is actually physically stronger.

He might be competitive the first couple of rounds but his explosiveness will fade quick as he gets fatigued in the clinches.

Fury also knows how to pace himself better not to burn out. And this skill will be even more crucial at the championship level.

Against someone like Pulev Joshua can Cruise to an easy Victory. Now he needs to be 100% focused all the time and that also drains your energy.

In just physical terms of: Strength, explosiveness, Weight, and stamina. I think this fight will be a bit similar to Lewis-Tyson.

Tyson was powerful, explosive and strong but Lewis overall size, pacing, stamina etc still came out on top.

The size difference between Lewis vs Tyson was massive, Aj and Fury not so much. Joshua knows how to push his opponents off or get rough in the clinches as he showed against Dominic Breazeale and Ivan Dychko. He's clearly physically stronger than Wladimir Klitschko. And its not like Klitschko was getting bullied like Wilder, he held his own in those clinches against Fury. Yes i do consider the fact that Klitschko has a better gas tank but still, Joshua knows how to throw 2-3 punch combinations or uppercuts when an opponent is leaning on him. Joshua is not Deontay Wilder or Steve Cunningham.

Joshua can pace himself better than he used to as showed in the Parker fight. He knows how to relax in the ring.

I didn't understand how Joshua/Fury could be made at this time, because Joshua still has a WBO mandatory defense due vs Oleksandr Usyk, who has been the official WBO mandatory challenger since June 2019. But apparently the WBO has been willing to wait to see if a Joshua/Fury fight would be signed before actually ordering Joshua to face Usyk. Now that Joshua/Fury is signed, the WBO will apparently activate their backup plan, which is for Usyk to fight Joe Joyce for the interim WBO world heavyweight title. Usyk and Joyce are respectively the #1 and #2 ranked heavyweight contenders in the WBO's most recent rankings. It's an interesting fight, and it's good for Usyk to stay busy. It's important to note that the WBO rarely sanctions fights for interim titles, and in fact does not currently have any interim world titlists.

not sure about this, Joshua was able to throw Octopus Klitschko off of him when they fought, I’d be surprised if he wasn’t able to do the same to Fury.

Good luck on Fury being stronger than Joshua. Fury fans are so delusional.
As far as Pulev goes, the guy has trained wrestling back in the Klitschko fight, and the guy is actually insanely strong, and knows what he is doing in the clinch.
And still Joshua manhandle him. In the rounds where the KD was, its quite obvious. Pulev trying to tied Joshua, but Joshua overpowering him.
I don`t know what people are even looking when their watching their fights. I guess they have to throw the pink glasses first .....
Just because Fury weight more, doesn`t mean he is stronger. You can weight 200 pounds and still be stronger than someone who weight at 300 pounds.

    But the extra weight helps.
If AJ and Fury are equally strong, and Fury comes in 30 pounds heavier, AJ has to use more of his strength in close, whereas Fury can save his strength and apply his weight to drain AJ.

AJ could shrug Wlad off him and easily pushed away Pulev when he tried to hold on, so he's clearly very strong. The only opponent I've seen him have problem manipulate/hold in the clinches is Ruiz. Ruiz really impressed me with his physicality for someone who's almost obese.

Fury will be some 20-30 lbs heavier, but he also have a higher centre of gravity so the clinches will be interesting. How will the ref react if it gets physical in that way?

If we're talking how benches, squats and deadlifts more I'd go for AJ, but Fury's height advantage will let him lean on AJ in any case. So the question is how AJ and the ref reacts in such instances.

The extra weight in theory could help. But its not certain that will help you. Depends of the weight. In Fury case its fat.
Yeah obviously Joshua will have to push 30 pounds more in the example you give, but in the same time, Fury will also tired quickly, cause he wear more weight.
On top of that he will be slower both on his feet and on his hands, his reflexes as well. Also Joshua and his team are very smart. They know what to expect and will be 200% prepared.

Against Wilder(second fight) his punches was a mess, his speed was not what its used to be(and i never really buy that he is incredible fast). He also eat several right hand that was telegraphic. Yeah he totally ***** up Wilder, but Wilder never ever have any defense we can talk about. Wilder defense is eating punches with his head.
A lot lesser fighter has manage to connect regularly on him.
In my book Wilder has always been a fraud and i have always said that. He was a paper protected champion, and that was so so obvious.

In my book if Joshua do his homework, that its going to be an easy night for him.
He got all the tools, and even more than that to beat Fury convincingly.
