Yeah, like Crawford, looks that WBO had handled Crawford differently than Ukrainian Usyk.

Well, for me you are juvenile.
Usyk for me does not needed to have ANY pro boxing belt in his life to get my respect.
I had watched Usyk in amateurs, youth too. LoL.
He was World superstar in amateur ranks.

And if for pros because fans like you does not recognize amateur rules even as real fight, lol, amateur Usyk was more difficult to hit properly than pro Usyk.

Also, Usyk, had did in CW division stuff no one in HW division had did during last decade:
he was UNDISPUTED champion in all 4 major more well known boxing orgs and also The Ring Belt holder and Ali trophy winner and ALSO had been ranked #1 by boxrec.

Of course for ppl like you because Usyk is from Ukraine, let's guys talk more without nonsense and not to pretend here.
Usyk by western posters opinions deserves lesser rights under WBO rules than Crawford.:D
Best IRL boxer Terence had in the ring was Mean Machine, looks this gentleman was approx #8 th in rankings.
Terence still get fast title shots when he moved up to next weight class.

Usyk is from Ukraine and therefore " does not deserve " the same handling as Crawford had. :D

U will tell me your teen noise talk that pro boxing is SPORT:ibutt?
    Continue. :nonono:bananaride

You and surrix are spot on. The injuries on top of the fact he’s past his prime have left Usyk with a difficult task at Heavy, it’s to late for him imo. The Bellew fight was concerning then Chisora kinda pointed it out that he’s not the same. I think he’d like a direct shot at Joshua and retire for the money, I think he’s hanging around for the big payday but it’s a risk with every fight now getting in that position, he could lose before that now that he’s blatantly lost a step. Great fighter past his prime Usyk. Shame it’s to late

I'm not sure how Krassyk thinks that is reasonable.

    Joyce deserves to gets paid.

Lions share to Usyk sure but what the hell kind of offer is 7%?

Gotta laugh at 7%. Would that even cover Joyce's total expenses?
Take the Tax off and he may as well fight for free.

At least far better than fight vs Pulev.
Usyk is lad who had gave all his soul and life to the ring and had fought opponents in their prime, including undefeated guys in their hometown.
He was avoided fighter like also Briedis in his prime was and they both had suffered from this damn a lot like in the hell.
Only tournament format allowed these lads like Usyk, Briedis, Dorticos and Gassiev to get more well known for fans in all world.
Avoided fighters fights vs opponents in their prime. Glory of the Craft as boxing soul.

Usyk's got quite a good sense of humour, maybe he's joking.

Anyone else here think he looks a bit like Marty Feldman?

Usyk is probably pissed off because he was going to get a big pay day against Joshua but had to step aside.

I don't think like this but even A.J legacy totegther with Joyce in this day is far below Usyk's legacy.
I of course agree that Joyce most likely deserves nice and huge pay check even for stepping up vs Usyk out of prime.

From another point, Usyk will not be toy for Al and eddie to pay little money and especially if there eddie clauses might appear and eddie backyard.

Usyk even with 0 pro fights does have more legacy than today Joyce, Whyte and Chisora might have in their dreams.
Btw Dereck likes me a lot.

Not fighting will be worth more than fighting once the step aside deal is agreed

He'd be mad to accept say £2-5m maximum to fight Joyce when he'll get something close to that for nothing in a few months anyway

Joyce is a high risk, low reward fight. Top 10 heavies will avoid him like the plague.

I can see why Usyk would be happier to coast through 2021 and then fight for a title next year. Why risk a big pay day/chance to become heavyweight champion.

Usyk is desperate to fight AJ in his back garden where everything will be stacked against him. He already schooled Joyce in the WSB and they were waiting for AJ vs Fury to be confirmed because Usyk's manager has been saying for ages that he doesn't think that fight is going to happen and if it doesn't Usyk vs AJ will be next for not only the WBO title but also the IBF and WBA. And if you watch any of Krassyuk's interviews you'll realize he, like Usyk, is a bit of joker too and he often says things tongue in cheek.

Well, Usyk had proven that he does have balls vs fighters who really had balls and were in their prime.
    1. to travel to U.S and fight vs undefeated Hunter was real risk.
    2. to travel to Poland and fight vs undefeated Glowacki was real risk.
They were 28 y.o and 30 y.o, Glowacki in this moment was really legit WBO World Title holder, guy who had get title via stoppage in U.S and had defeated his title in U.K.
    3. to fight vs Briedis in Latvia, there more not about hometown cards cos then Briedis was not enough well known, did not had impactful promoters. This was really dangerous for health in long term. Looks this also had happened with him after this.
    4. to fight vs Gassiev in Russia, again, I don't think that this is about possible cards, but young, undefeated lad in prime, injuries free and with 2 belts + if bearing in mind what he had did vs Dorticos who was with 0 doubts legit champion.

Bellew in U.K is another story, Bellew even didn't had fought vs Briedis and when Usyk in real prime barely like razor had defeated him despite lost last rounds, it was clear why Bellew did not had fought prime Briedis version.
Low reward, high risk to get proper concussion. :D
