Just read where Jermall accepted the call out from Benavidez. Is it really gonna happen and who you got.
Jermall gets beaten senseless until the corner pulls him out around the 9th, or straight up gets KTFO.
Provided Benavidez isn't dead at the weight Benavidez via legal homicide Jermallo is good but he just opened the gates of hell
Jermall slows down the pace in the opening rounds with his jab. And probably takes control of the fight as well. But slowly, Benavidez just breaks him down. Benavidez UD as Jermall is forced to shell up in the last 4 in order to finish the fight on his feet.
If Jermall has a chance, it will be early but after six I think that his odds of winning goes down and gets worse after each round. However, I do remember the first Gravril fight where Benavidez was buzzed pretty good and Charlo packs more punch than that with a better skillset.
Great fight if it happens. I got Benavidez in a 60/40 type of fight. 7 - 5 rounds or possible KO. It will be great.
Charlo accepts every call out. Then fights none of the people willing to fight him. He could fight GGG, Andrade or Murata in his own division and has made offers to none of them. He got a massive offer to fight Andrade and went quiet. This fight won’t happen as Benavidez isn’t champion and is close to mandatory. Charlo would also have to vacate to move up. Only way it happens is if Canelo is made franchise
It would be one of the most badass moves in a long time if Charlo left a very safe belt to fight Frankenstein's monster for nothing. It's too good a matchup, this won't happen.
Charlo has better movement and defense but eventually David would catch him and catch him HARD. Charlo can’t outwork the guy but he can make it fun with his movement and footwork for about 5 rounds. DB by late stoppage
I like Charlo to beat Benavediz. Charlo has a good beard and unlike DB, he's never been down. DB doesn't move his head...a fighter like Ellis was touching him all night. Against elite level competition, he will not get away with throwing multiple combination WITHOUT getting countered, and with Charlo, it will be hard counters. DB doesn't have one punch power which means that the elite level fighters with defense will not wilt against him. As Alvarez has proven, being tall and long doesn't mean automatic victory. As a matter of fact, I don't see Benavidez beating Sanders, Plant, Charlo, Andrade or Alvarez if he fought any of them today...but I like DB, he'll beats the Love's, Ellis's & Dirrel's of the world.
Am I missing something here? What does Canelo have to do with DB vs JC? I don't think the WBC have made DB mandatory yet, and DB himself seems to want 2-3 fights first. I don't think DB makes 160 anyways so JC would need to move up, so it's not like DB is gonna lose his spot at 168. DB talking about fight with Plant... But no way CP risks his big payday with Canelo. So I think JC makes the most sense for DB. I'd be SOO gutted if Canelo goes undisputed then ducks DB.
Benavidez by KTFO. He might end Charlos career tbh. Considering Charlos record so far i don't think he has the balls to face Benavidez so doubt this gonna happen anyway.
