    It may be different now that Canelo is nolonger with Oscar Della Huj but his team was the master at picking guys who were on their way down.

    Beiterbiev coming off Covid and inactivity did not look super sharp. It's too early to say if he is in decline or just had a mediocre night due to reasonable reasons.

    The beef won't matter.

    He needs to

    a) Wait a couple of years till Beterbiev ages.

    b) Make it till the final bell and let the judges do their bit.

    That didnt happen plus Beterbiev is nowhere near as skilled as Kovalev was hes mentally tougher but skillwise hes basic.

    Canelo would counter him silly.

    Canelo would give Beterbiev a decent fight but in the end canelo would be put through the meat grinder. I'd say tko8 for beterbeast.

    At his age it’s likely but he’s a beast on top form. If we take him v Canelo both at their best, or Beterbiev of the Gvozdyk v any Canelo best performances you would be hard pushed not to pick Beterbiev

    you are all discussing a fight that will not happen until late 2022/2023, and even then its a long shot. Canelo has a clear route and i can think of a lot of boxers most likely to get the payday after saunders and plant than beterbiev.

    Boxing is weird some times you get a guy like Beterbiev who is a one dimensional fighter who fights like a cave man and hes hyped as if hes the second coming of Mike Tyson.

    On the other hand and in the same division we have a guy as skilled as Bivol is who is barelly noticed and gets little to no hype in comparison.

    Its bizarre.

    Tough to gauge Beterbiev but he did look a bit off tonight. But, credit to Diens who gave it his all, took some hellacious shots and kept trying.
    Beterbiev needs to fight some top tier competition in his next fight. At 36 time is not on his side.
