DUDES 38 he has 1 top level win (Gvozdyk) Dont put him on no P4P lists... Also has a VERY VERY Questionable chin... been dropped by lesser opponents Very slow and plodding Huge power thats it Canelo, Plant, Benavidez all would beat him... Too much skill
No, you're not confused in the least, you're just a wretched pathetic troll doing your sleazy thing. And he's 36.
Hes got a little bit of a point but at LHW its him n bivol. Joe Smith finally gonna get his belt but bivol put on a boxing clinic against him AB is at the top of the mountain n rightfully so
Beterbievs win at 34 years old against Gvodzyk is better than any one of Canelo's wins (GGGx2 and Lara don't count because he didn't win them). Questionable chin? What because that monster hitter Callum Johnson dropped him? Not a great argument You're also basing your "analysis" (calling it that is a bit of stretch) of Beterbiev being out for 18 months and coming off surgery.. Hardly the best argument Beterbiev has extensive amateur pedigree and isn't just some plodder.. Though his style resolves around pressure and using his strength and ridiculous punching power to wittle you down
He looked like the Rona took a chunk out of his game. Or he was carrying his opponent in order to lure Mexican Beef into the ring and make a fortune.
This right here. The wise and crafty ways of Central Asian Chechens never ceases to amaze me. Canelo's team is on the phone right now. Might squeeze Beterboy between Saunders and Plant. Although making him age for another year, like cheese, will probably be the best policy.
No, the dude is 36. Iron chined. Got up before count of two both times and KO'd his opponent within two rounds. Not RJJ, but faaaaaaaaaaaaaar from slow. Possible, but all three would be underdogs, IMO. You're right about one thing, though...
This guy could have killed it if he was more active and better promoted.. I've gone back and forth as to who I think would win between him & Bivol but the more time that passes the more I favour the younger man.. as for tonight's performance, he did look like he was carrying the guy to be fair… Getting in some rounds, he barely looked out of 1st gear.. but he can't waste another year now.. Bivol or Smith next please..
Beterbiev is a good fighter just not as good as some of his fans make him out to be. His win over the nail was very impressive his best performance no doubt.
He had a tough opponent. He had a 17 month lay-off. He had surgery. He had the rona. And he won nine of ten rounds en route to stopping a previously unstopped opponent. I think he did OK, all things considered.
Im not a fan of him and look forward to seeing him meet his match and getting KTFO but hes clearly alot better then the guy who started the thread is trying to say,as Beterbiev has obviously been a beast in the ring throughout his time as amateur and pro and as somebody pointed out that 1 win over Grodzyk was as good a win as it gets. For whatever reason tho, wether it be nobody wanting any part of him etc. his level of opposition has been underwhelming despite plenty of quality options in and around his weight division last few years and hes faced little resistance beating up on unknowns which havent helped build his popularity, despite his talents and crowd pleasing way he fights.
