4-1 Ortiz, that jab of his is devastating.

 

Ortiz really rips to the body. Impressive.

 

The way Ortiz digs those body shots is something else. Hooker survived, great exchange at the end.

 

Learn to not score while stuffing your face.

 

At the end of the day, you cannot... contest... superior.. firepower.

 

Hooker can’t win this type of fight against someone this heavy handed. Then again he knows he can’t win a decision so he’s throwing caution to the wind. Damned if you do damned if you don’t I guess.

Ortiz is too one-paced, straight up and down, and loads up on his shots too much. A lot of hard, single shots in a reasonably quick succession, but he'd do better varying the tempo a bit with more fluid combinations and set-up shots in close.

I'd like to see him pump the jab a bit more when closing distance. Had a nice double jab sequence in the sixth before the knockdown.

Expecting a solid career, some alphabet belts here and there, but nothing truly great. Just not that level of prospect.

 

impressive display of skills and power from ortiz, not sure hes ready for crawford though.

 

Jaysus what a finish. What a fight. Well worth the watch.
