Lewis Vitali Wladimir Tyson Holmes Holyfield Foreman Morrison Tua Ibeabuchi Byrd Rahman Ruiz Given how big Fury is and as fast at countering, slick defense,, and overall as skilled as he is, I think he would handle these normal sized and smaller fighters But size and reach means a lot when you also have skills to match your size..... so I would pick Lewis and both Klitschko brothers over fury, because they are also oversized heavies, very skilled, and Lewis and Vladimir had amazing power, and Vitaly had a tough fighter mentality and a granite chin but I would probably pick fury over everyone else on that list.... but maybe not Foreman. big George might be able to handle Fury; that would be a good fight
Lewis absolutely a favorite over Fury. Vitali is a pick em fight. Fury beats Wladimir. Wlad was great, but he didn't have the ring IQ to deal with Fury. Holmes has a decent chance. Foreman also has a chance.
Fury vs Lewis - Lewis Fury vs Vitali - Probably Vitali Fury vs Wladimir - probably Fury Fury vs Tyson - slightly leaning towards Tyson Fury vs Holyfield - Slightly leaning towards Fury Fury vs Holmes - probably Holmes Fury vs Foreman - Fury Fury vs Morrison - Fury Fury vs Tua - Fury Fury vs Ibeabuchi - probably Fury Fury vs Byrd - Fury Fury vs Rahman - Fury Fury vs Ruiz - Fury
Fury beats them all but it's not fair to compare between eras because past fighters didn't have the advantages that modern fighters have. And beyond that, fighters can only beat others who are active in their era so these are abstract hypotheticals that can never be definitively settled. People love them though for that very reason: everyone's favourite historical fighter can beat the best current fighter in his imagination.
You might had picked Wlad for example 34-36 y.o vs Holmes? Wlad maybe by your assumption had low or high ring IQ but he did with Holmes the same stuff he did vs Povetkin. Regards to low IQ, Wlad had very good ring IQ for standup wrasslin and he was not that bad boxer like ppl assume. Certainly better than Holmes ever was. Ofc 38 y.o and older his over the hill versions are different story. Actually 34-36 y.o Wlad might offer better clinch game than Fury or A.J. Ofc Fury too is smart and he is LARGE.
I think Fury is what you'd get if you engineered someone to beat Foreman. I think it would help to see more of Fury's prime before considering him vs prime Wlad. If it happened I would certainly bet the over.
I think Fury beats everyone except Lewis, Tyson and possibly Holyfield depending on how Fury approaches the fight
Which Fury? Prime jucied Fury before retirement or post retirement past it current version of Fury? Let say prime juiced Fury, Ithink all on the list would beat prime Fury with the exception Byrd, Tua, Morrison and Rahman.
Do you realise that Fury has already defeated Wladimir Klitschko? The only one I would favour against Fury is Vitali Klitschko.
Lewis - Fury outworks him late to a decision, the most intriguing fight of the lot, the bigger more static Lewis later in his career would definitely lose in 2nd phase of the fight. Vitali - Fury outworks him late to a decision, Not enough versatility to beat Fury. Wladimir - Already sonned him, any version of him. Big stiff robot. No inside game. No late fight stamina. Tyson - My back it's broken! Prime 1988 Tyson is an exciting fight against anyone, Fury takes him late and drowns him. He's be exhausted by round 4/5. Holmes - Great fight...As with Lennox Fury could lose a decision if he fights a bad fight but on form I'd favor him to outjab Holmes merely based on reach/height then outwork him late. Holmes would get stuck out of range when he tires and wouldn't be able to close the range he needs. This would be a really frustrating fight for an extremely ring smart Holmes. Holyfield - My back it's broken! Definitely has his moments but Fury is just too big & sexy. Foreman - Fury Decision again any version of Foreman. Morrison - Fury Decision/late stoppage Fury. Morrison slowly loses his composure and gets stuck against Fury, faltering and getting stopped or making it to a decision loss. Tua - My back it's broken! Ibeabuchi - lol c'mon. Byrd - lol c'mon. Rahman - lol c'mon. Ruiz - Is that cheeseburger for me? Jabbed, nut , right in. Where Fury excels against all the bigger "superheavys" is his late fight stamina A "prime" slightly younger Lennox moved very well and would trouble Fury early, same with Holmes but Holmes would start struggle with his greater size deficit. If what we regard as a "prime" Lennox, the slightly bigger version had just a little more stamina I'd definitely give him a 50:50 or greater chance to win, I think the younger version is just not mature enough and the older version definitely slows later which makes me favor Fury. After fury bowls through AJ people will recognize what a supreme talent we have. Whyte & Ruiz wouldn't land a punch if Fury wants. One of Fury's biggest weaknesses despite being about to work late his late fight power really drains, especially on his long range work, he has to get on top of you and mawl to do any damage there.
You are wrong. Fury already beat Wladimir. I also think Iron Mike Tyson, Ibeabuchi, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman and Holyfield knock him out.
Lewis - I'd favor a prime Lewis over Fury Vitali - This is close, extremely close ... If I had to pick I'd actually take a motivated, prime Fury Wladimir - I'll take Fury Tyson - Tyson breaks Fury down to a victory in an excellent fight. Holmes - Tough fight ... Holmes has a chance but it will be awkward for him. Holyfield - Fury Foreman - Hard to say ... Foreman would have a hard time with Fury style Morrison - Fury Tua - Fury Ibeabuchi - No clue Byrd -Fury Rahman- Fury Ruiz - Fury
