When has Mike Tyson broke someone decent down past round 4/5? I think Fury definitely out-games Iron Mike then makes him pay mid/late. He'd be exhausted trying to close & execute on Fury. Them explosive combinations are lovely but only on men who don't know how to shut them down. Fury footwork and inside ability shuts it down & his chin/toughness enables him to take the odd shot anyway. There is no way Mike Tyson can physically handle someone like Fury mid/late fight. Fury could easily jab his nut off or get on top of him when he starts to wilt.
Fury beat Wlad when his reflexes had clearly eroded and he was clearly on the Downslide. 30-36 yr old Wlad had too effective clinching skills, too much speed and torpedo power for ANYone to weather.
I think we should all take something into consideration - Fury hasn't beaten anyone nearly as good as Prime Lewis, Mike Tyson, Prime Wlad or Prime Vitali. Lets see him at least beat Joshua. Fury's best two wins were against nearly retired Wlad (Which could have gone another way in the 2nd fight with Wlad being confident of a better result with a different style), and against Beyonce Wilder. Pummeling Wilder means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Wilder would get ****ing slaughtered by the majority on this list. So we have his only extremely impressive win coming from Wlad, who WAS NOT in his prime, and we didn't even get a rematch. If Fury - - Beats AJ x2 - Beats Usyk - Maybe Wilder again - Beats Ruiz - Beats Whyte. And he beats all of them comfortably, then I'd say he has a chance against anyone on that list, but until this happens, his best wins are nothing to jerk off over that much. If he does the above I mention, I think he has a 50/50 or better chance of beating anyone on that list, apart from Lewis or Tyson, who I still think would win more than 50/50.
Fury’s extremely effective “bend forward at the waist or lean back out of range” movement and then quickly snap back into position with -fast- countering handspeed It’s incredible and so entertaining to watch. Especially given that he’s 6 foot eight and weighs 270
Lewis wins SD 12...Fury floored Vitali loses SD 12 Wladimir wins TKO 10 Tyson wins TKO 4 Holmes wins UD 12 Holyfield wins SD 12 Foreman might TKO 3..but then again, might gas out in which case Fury UD 12. Morrison loses UD 12 Tua loses UD 12 Rahman loses, possibly by TKO 11 Ruiz loses UD 12
Fury vs Lewis Fury vs Vitali Fury vs Wladimir Fury vs Tyson Fury vs Holyfield Fury vs Holmes Fury vs Foreman Fury vs Morrison Fury vs Tua Fury vs Ibeabuchi Fury vs Byrd Fury vs Rahman Fury vs Ruiz
People rate Wlad too highly, probably the most overrated heavy ever next to Mike Tyson. First time he got some big young men in front of him he folded unable to clinch and unable to weather the storm. A big stiff idiot. A big robot. Who is his best win
Prime, fit Fury can beat all of them. It's boxing, you can get nailed. But he can definitely beat all of them and I think only prime Wlad has a good chance of winning, but wouldn't favour him considering the tool box Fury has shown by now.
Wlad is overrated right ? So if that's the case why do you think beating Wlad on points means Fury beats everyone on this list ?
Well, Holmes actually likes me. He was not enough large for Wlad. If he had Wlad size, he might fight vs him well IF this was 1977-1980 version. Modern large boxers are really large. Patterson was cool and oly champ too, and he with 0 efforts and thinking might had make CW limit for weight ins. Boxers now are large size.
This content is protected Fury would be in close fights with the Klitschkos and Lewis. He beats the rest comfortably.
Fury beat old man Wlad...big deal. Wlad in his prime was a better heavyweight than anyone today, and that goes for Holyfield, Holmes, and Tyson as well. Foreman and Lewis are also quite debatable...though I'm not sure George could have beat Fury. George was a monster early, but had lots of trouble with boxers past the fifth round.
