I’ll dispel the myth Shane is a great trainer, his Dad has his back in the gym all the time

I don’t personally see much improvement in Fowler, though it was a good win on the weekend. He still seems rigid and up tight.

    Fantastic trainer.

Is that 4 world champions at 32 years of age now? Some achievement that is.

I believe Shane to be a top coach who is only going to get better but id wager a bet that Barry/Cyclone will get involved somehow cos of greed/jealousy/ego and possibly ruin relationships for Shane. Shane as a coach can do very well if he keeps it at coaching.

According to Sky Sports highly paid pundit Tony Bellew, any improvements must be credited to Coldwell.

In fairness the Ingles have taken fighters from amateurs all the way through to world champion pro's

100% the best trainer in the UK for sure. Brilliant trainer.
Guys like Frampton bang on about how he overworked him, yeah and it made you a world champ. He likes Moore because its casual and not as tough going, dont think that will pan out well vs Herring. Personally, i dont think he would have taken that beating vs Josh Warrington had he still been with Shane.

Yeah only a few though and theyve been in the game decades. You'd think they'd had 30 world champions by the way Adam Smith and the Sky boys talk about the ' famous winconbank gym' like it's the Uk's version of Kronk

Imagine how many world champions Shane will have had in 20 years. He seems to improve everybody he trains. Whereas with the overrated Ingle gym there's a long list of fighters who moved there and got worse

Still though they've created world champions from nothing........ Nelson, Naz, Brook.... took them from kids to the top of the sport.

I agree McGuigan is a superb trainer and from what I've seen, fighters do seem to improve under him but his fighters have all been "ready made". You can argue Frampton but he was a stand-out amateur in his own right.

I'm worried for Taylor in the Ramirez fight for the same reason. Talks about how enjoyable it is with Davison etc. Probably a soft touch.

McGuigan's 4 don't equals Hamed's defences, Nelson's many defences, Witter, Brook, Saunders and Adams. But then you know that from your many previous accounts that got banned.

And then Gerry Storey trained Frampton as a pro.
