Nick Webb vs Eric Pfeifer on the Gibraltar PPV undercard

Dave Allen knocked out Webb.. enough said.

 

Heard Nick Webb turned down a bunch of fights looking for a decent sized one for a payday. Strange he took the Pfeiffer fight.

my guess is if he wins he’s been promised the Babic or Wardley fight next

I remember pfieffer, AJ broke his nose and stopped him in 1 round in the amateurs. Not heard of him since. Probably still better than webb though

 

Fact this is on Sky PPV is taking the p out of people.

 

How? Webb is game, big, strong, powerful, always comes to fight and this is a crossroads bout for him. It's last chance saloon which always adds value. Plus, he's up against Michelle Pfeiffer's son which is a story in itself.

It's shaping up to be a good card.

Cannot bring myself round to purchasing this Box Office event unless Eddie added a naked Michelle Pfeiffer as a ring girl.

 

If you put 1€ on every favorite on this card you can win 4€. That is nothing short of phenomenal competitiveness for a Matchroom card.

 

Not one elite fighter on the card and only a British Title at stake.

For those reasons, I am not watching.

 

When Nick Webb was stopped by Dave Allen he was more like one of those characters that you get at the start of a career mode on a boxing computer game - a knock over job that barely throws a punch while you get used to the controls, knocking him out with about 10 unanswered hail Mary right hooks.

But he has had a couple of decent wins since then against undefeated opposition. I'm looking forward to this one. This Pfeifer could be the third undefeated win in a row for Webb.

 

He is an area level fighter at best. Big props for fighters at that level, but I dont think they should be on Sky ppvs. Especially ones with an unworthy headline fight.

 

He is a Saturday night fight night fighter at best

Should be nowhere near a 20 pound card

 

A well matched fight but clearly it shouldn’t be anywhere near a PPV undercard.
