On the contrary, can you think of anybody (ANYBODY! ) more qualified to scare the boogie man away to ensure the little ones have a pleasant visit to the land of nod?
“BEST DEFENSE Ruslan Chagaev: Ruslan Chagaev for sure. A somewhat slick southpaw. There was a big difference in size, because he was a lot smaller it was difficult to land.” Modernistas got warm chests after reading that.
You couldn't be more right. I have even heard Lennox Lewis talk about how hard it is to get power on someone punching downward. But, the bigger the better to some.
I have seen a few of these, and one thing always leaps out at me. 1st - Holyfield seems to have fought everyone that was anyone at one point or another. 2nd - He is ALWAYS rated as one of the toughest , smartest and most skilled heavyweighst on virtually everyones list. Holyfiled is truly an absolute ATG. Really underated and would have done well against anyone, anytime and anyplace. Just an incredible athlete and boxer. I keep seeing these articles, and keep seeing his name. He is really moving up my charts as a great.
Wilder said the same thing. “The fighters who are smaller but hit hard are the most difficult. The hard hitting big guys are a target.” The thing is, there are plenty of quotes that point to the contrary. Such is boxing. Nothing is absolute. Besides that Muhammad Ali is the greatest.
If it weren't for the Evan Fields controversy, I could see Holy being as high as #3. No one but Ali has better wins. But the losses, and the fact that he undoubtedly did HGH throughout his career, bring him down a bit for me.
I think this proves conclusively that Russian kids are tougher than American kids. My two grandsons would start crying if they had to watch him, but to be fair they are half British.
I like the part where he takes out a children's tool box. Then it dawns on you, no... those are regular sized tools
