He’s not world class, and his status as a contender only seems to be going down. What exactly is next for him?

Needs to beat Arthur before aiming for anything

And with Tunde, he is gonna regress

I agree. He need to win that rematch.

As for Tunde, I believe he is signed with him so they will have to work together on some level but hopefully Tunde lets him go to another trainer without much fuss and without holding a grudge.

But yeah, he definitely needs a new trainer.

Well, I think Yarde is brave lad and does have balls, not only flaws.
He might maybe fight vs S.Ward or Burton.
Maybe with Bolotņiks but there high risk low reward to fight vs Bolotņiks.

I think he might KO Burton if this will do mistake. Burton is not bad but not much experience in high level, like in top 50 and even top 100.
Also he too does have balls to fight.

I hope I'm wrong, but IMHO the Kovalev fight cracked him. I said at the time that we were seeing Yarde's peak all in one fight.

Tunde hadn't taught Yarde much boxing but he had hypnotized Yarde into believing he was unbeatable, which is how he managed to stand up to massive punishment against Kovalev until his body gave out when hit by only a jab. Now that that supreme confidence is gone he is a lesser proposition.

Yarde was essentially a confidence fighter, therefore, and is lacking the same now. He needs a new trainer, as stated above, and even at his age he could improve his fundamentals and fix some of his obvious flaws (and he is gifted in many ways: power, athleticism, and courage). But I don't see him going anywhere with Tunde.
