Your analysis is much better when Canelo isn't involved :D

The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. You have "Canelo problems" which make you unable to see anything Canelo-related clearly. It may stem from what he did to your favorite fighters, it may be something else. But until you come to terms with your Canelophobia and what it stems from, you are limited and unable to reach your full potential as a poster.

The fighters who he fought in the 1960s were in better conditioned and closer to their primes than Larry Holmes or Spinks was when they fought Mike. Especially Spinks who completely folded out the gate when he was known for being a distance fighter. Mike fought and beat some good fighters along the way, I just don't think many of them can compare to some of the guys Cassius Clay fought. When Tyson fought Berbick, Berbick was not the same fighter he was years earlier when he fought Holmes or even the versoin of him that fought an old Ali.

And lets be real, before Berbick he fought a lot of tomato cans. The heavyweight division was very tough in the 1960s, I don't think Tyson would have been able to steamroll his way through some of the fighters Cassius Clay faced.

Please...Tyson would not have been able to steamroll his way through some of the fighters Ali faced in the 1970's. But in the 1960's? C'mon.....Cleveland Williams would have no chance against tyson, never the same after his shooting. Zora Folley would be too old, a young Foley in his prime might have given Mike a very tough fight, he was a great fighter. Henry Cooper cut too easy, Mike would have chopped him up. Ernie Terrell was not strong enough to keep Mike off of him, but with a vicious jab and good outside movement, if he boxed outside he might make the distance. Karl Mildenberger was just not good enough, he probably goes earlier than with Ali. Doug Jones was too small, couldn’t keep Mike off of him, Mike would take him out early.
Archie Moore was too old too small. Mike would take him out earlier than Ali. Floyd Patterson was past his prime when he fought ali. A young healthy Patterson would give Mike a run for his money, but not an hurt, or old, Patterson. Mike would take him out earlier than Ali. Anything Frazier did to Geroge Chuvalo, tyson can do it better.
Sonny Liston was all wrong for Mike....But an old and badly Injured Liston might not be able to destroys tyson just like he did with his peek a boo mate Floyd Patterson. A prime liston would have done it with ease, but not an injured Liston.

Patterson ~ 190 lbs. Liston was 220 lbs vs 215 lbs Ali in their first fight.
Looks that Liston had also weight advantage vs Patterson and he wasn't fat at all. Both, Ali and Liston, also Patterson were not fat in 60 ies.

I agree with some of your takes, not others. Prime Frazier, even Pre-Prime Frazier if there even is such a thing had an incredible engine. Prime Frazier would be difficult for any fighter to stop or even slow down. Prime Frazier vs Prime Tyson would be a hell of a fight, I'd favor Tyson but I certainly wouldn't count Joe out. Joe would never quit, he would keep coming at Tyson, Prime Tyson never experienced a workhorse like Frazier who would take whatever he threw at him and keep coming round after round and finding a home for hooks.
