If hes half as good as the old man...he,ll do well. Looks like one of the kids people can really get behind. Whereas Eubank junior and benn seem more aquired tastes. No doubt he,ll get a hard time being a matchroom fighter....hopefully he can do well tho. Guy he fought in the above video looked good tbf...also looked a lot more mature.
Tbf they will have a field day with him. If he’s matched right and can get to a title shot at the right time in the US there will be such a big night for him in a Hatton wonderland. essentially get to 20-0 fight Sakae, billy dib and frenois and your looking at a mandatory shot against someone like Jojo Diaz
Do you like fights that are below area level? You do? Well you’re in luck because you’re about to get 2 years of them. What a ****ing joke.
A lot of pressure at a young age but he comes across a good lad and has a very solid experienced team around him and will effectively follow the Conor Benn route under Matchroom. From what I'm aware he done quite well at North West level and was going through opponents and then he could no longer get matched so he ended up fighting far more experienced amateurs at National level......... and that will have only stood him in good stead. Already appears super fit which is no surprise and given that he's no doubt been training like a pro and sparring numerous pro's for a while now, turning over won't come as a big change. Look forward to following the journey, good luck to him.
It would be great if he turns out to be as good as his dad but with more discipline. Get the fans behind him and some good nights watching boxing. His main problem will be how he deals with the limelight so early. Its difficult to learn his trade and be 1 of the main attractions for the show. It comes with more scrutiny. It will certainly be interesting
Eubank juniors a bit too full of himself to get a massive following like hatton did and connors a bit the same. People dont mind it when your at the top but on the way through some will like it and some wont. If your wanting the massive following your pretty much wanting them all to like you. Just my take on it. Hes more recognisable with the average man on the street also. Although that might be changing when i see social media nowadays.
Kids been boxing a while, not sure what he has or where it'll take him, if he has half the spite in a body shot his old man had he'll be fine
He seems more interested in building his social media profile up and being a funny man than he is about being a boxer.
What I like about the boy is when he became a dad really young he got himself a couple of part time jobs to support his kid. Remember his dad saying he never needed to but he wanted to earn the money himself to pay for his baby and that he was really proud of him for stepping up. Obviously he could have got the money of his dad but instead he was training, working, training working and helping to bring up his kid.
