No one said you did, I told you to look at all the comments before the fight, and compare them to the comments after the fight in this thread

90% of this board will say anything to try to put Canelo achievements down, Canelo can beat Beterbiev and people will say Beterbiev was already 36 year and past prime , there is no point in risking that fight because he still will not get credit, Hell Canelo can go all the way to HW and beat Ruiz and people will try to make all sort of excuses

The Kovalev win might be easily counted as not worth for resume.
Kovalev was over the hill and there are other factual proofs and these are real facts not illusions.

    1. Kovalev had fought vs Canelo without normally needed recovery period after title fight and without decent time for training camp after rest period.
Everyone who does knows more than casual fans about boxing, does knows this.
    2. Kovalev did not had enough recovery and training time after very tough and hard night in the office vs Yarde.
    3. Despite Yarde had lost via stoppage, he showed to the world not only that he does have balls to travel to Russia fight vs Kovalev, he also had landed on Kovalev a lot.
    4. Yarde was not known outside of U.K brave british lad who gave him hard and difficult night in the office.
Kovalev even talked highly about Yarde's performance after their fight.

I gladly will continue to post why Kovalev looked over the hill even before fight vs Yarde.

Usually advisable recovery time after long fight is bare minimum 1 month if boxer had not been damaged and after this then as bare minimum+ 2 months + 1-2 weeks if next fight is 10 or 12 round fight.

There will be Kovalev's boxrec profile.

Canelo fight 2019-11-02 stoppage in 11 th round.
Yarde fight 2019-08-24 win via stoppage in 11 th round but I really advise to watch this fight how hard Kovalev traveled till this win.
There for a reason he after fight even was polite and appreciated Yarde for this fight. He knew that he for sure is over the hill.
Eilder Alvarez 2019-02-02 Kovalev wins in U.S by decision. At least after this fight he had enough time before he get Yarde in the ring. Otherwise maybe he had lost also vs Yarde.
Eilder Alvarez 2018-08-04 Kovalev lost via stoppage in 7 th round. There he too had enough time after this before next fight. Otherwise I can't guess that he might had won him in rematch fight. Eilder landed on him a lot.

Prime Kovalev maybe had in the ring Ward. this was when he was younger and looked more fresh.
    BoxRec: Sergey Kovalev

Of course you might think as you wish.
Ask yourself why modern top boxers usually fights 2, 3 fights in year.

I do know that you wish to devalue my posts and make them look laughable to forum users.

    Do it, if you wish.
You might gave Canelo credit for finishing in 11 th round guy who barely beated up Yarde and his younger version had been stopped by Eilder in 7 th round.

So buterelo punches less hard than Eilder.:D

I'm tired from buterelo fans. They will justify as marquee win even if buterelo had beated up 100 lbs 80 y.o guy.:p

When kov dropped ward in the 2nd rd i thought he might have made a mistake going up to 175lbs. I think kov technically won that fight but wards toughness and will to win the 2nd half of the fight gave him the 114-113 edge

Looks that in 2013-2016 this was prime and fresh Kovalev. He was impressive and had won 9 title fights in row before get fight vs Ward.

it was a simple enough question. did you come up with those numbers, or did you get them from someone else? if your theory cant even handle that simple question, what good is it? whatever else you like to tell yourself so you dont have to answer the simple question, is of no interest to me. i just want to know where you got those numbers...something you seem unable to answer.

I think better visit not forums but some decent pro gym and they will explain from where etc.

BTW, do you think that it is coincidence: in modern times top level boxers does fight 2-3, in rare cases 4 fights per year.
Now is common 2-3 fights per year.

I think you are trying to represent my posts as my own sole theory.

of course its not a coincidence, have you ever seen me say it is a coincidence, have we ever talked about coincidences? then why are you asking irrelevant questions to what im asking?couldnt you have just answered "yes, i came up with that theory myself", or " no, i heard it from a physical trainer"? how hard is that to answer? why make up stuff in your head about what im asking? its an easy straight forward question, why all the tap dancing?

Horrible thread filled with a bunch of straw man arguments and fanboyism.

I didn’t pick Canelo to win his fight vs Kovalev. Matter of fact, I had Canelo losing badly in that fight until the Hail Mary KO. Canelo is the p4p best boxer in the world atm, deal with it or cry more.
